@LessPop_MoreFizz My friend says that he's seen a few Steam games appear on the Mac client that definitely haven't been officially announced to have been be ported to the Mac. The fact it appears probably means nothing really, it might potentially mean someone at Aspyr has done the initial setup for the Steam release, but sometimes they just appear before that happens... I don't think Aspyr has announced anything about a final release date for the Mac version

only thing that is kinda "pay to win" is affinity booster (xp boost) but it just cut the leveling time in ½, but there is not real pvp in the game so not a big deal anyway

I don't think it would be a big deal in a PvP game either (it certainly isn't in PS2), as long as "levels" are meaningless.

Star Trek Online is similar, given enough time, anything from the cash shop can be earned in-game... although some things are a little pricey and it's a pretty long grind to actually earn them this way.

anything you can grind in the game is pretty easy to get (go to mission X repeat until you got it), but there are a couple of things from the shop you only get from special alerts that start every 40 min or so and have random reward. You can wait a long time to get them

in game you can't see what the reward is, but there is an android app and a twitter account for it

My rule when playing any RPG with that engine: I have the power of the console and I'm not afraid to use it to "fix" the game.

You might need to enable it in the INI file or it might be bound to some silly key combination on whatever keyboard layout you're using.

That depends on if you're using KeyPressed(DIK_GRAVE) (DirectInput, same position on every keyboard) or check for WM_CHAR Windows messages for the grave accent (same character on every keyboard, though not always directly available).

All I know is, it used to work and then it stopped
