Q: Can I get Eliza to forget I am working on a request?

Ashley NunnI have a request right now that I don't think I can complete. Is there any way to get Eliza to forget about it so I can go and accomplish other things?

Q: How do I raise my friendship level with everyone?

Ashley NunnApparently Eliza wants me to raise my friendship level with everyone in the village (I think). A lot of people in town are at 1, but a bunch are at zero, and I can't really figure out how to increase it. Can I do it just by talking to people? Or do I have to find gifts for everyone?

"Best played with a gamepad"...well, it is a good thing I ordered a new connector thing from ebay, although having to wait to play kinda sucks :(

@John Thanks, jerkface!

11:14 PM
@AshleyNunn Which game?

user15026
@ElfSlice Castle of Illusion. I am managing well enough with my keyboard, although I can totally see how the gamepad would make it inifinitely easier

FAE
@AshleyNunn Oh yeah, definitely for that game. I'm going to pick that up off PSN probably. I'm looking forward to it so much because I played the original on my Game Gear way back when.

user15026
@FAE I had fun with it, but I am going to wait to really get into it when the cord arrives for my gamepad

user15026
I think I am going to love it though

Q: Simulation game for Android without in-app purchase

Max RiedI'm looking for a simulation game like Age of Empire, Anno, etc. for Android WITHOUT in-app-purchases. I already played Game Dev Story, but I'm looking for other games.

11:21 PM
Castle of Illusion... doesn't sound familiar.

FAE
@ElfSlice Pretty sure it was released before you were born.
yeah, 1990

@FAE stop it.
you are making me feel so goddamned old right now. :(

FAE
@LessPop_MoreFizz I knoooow. I played this game on release.

user15026
@FAE What system was it originally on?

FAE
11:26 PM
@AshleyNunn Sega Genesis. Game Gear version (which I played) came out a year later.

user15026
@FAE Ah, that's why I don't remember it :)

I had a Game Gear!

user15026
(My family is like Nintendo-only)

FAE
@LessPop_MoreFizz 6 AAs!

There was a Shining Force game for Game Gear that I played the ever living shit out of for several years.
@FAE I had that big ol' rechargeable external battery pack.

user15026
11:26 PM
@Wipqozn That is really awesome

FAE
We got the charger pack for it because dear god.
@LessPop_MoreFizz Me toooo.

@OrigamiRobot You're welcome! :D
I love the world.

FAE
I loved the Game Gear because it was backlit, so I could play it underneath my covers when I was supposed to be asleep.

The whole world.

FAE
I still have it at my parents.

user15026
11:28 PM
@FAE Yeah, I could never do that with anything, my sister would always tattle :p

user15026
@John Oh great now it is in my head too

@AshleyNunn :D
EVERYBODY sing!

FAE
@AshleyNunn We had separate bedrooms, so I was safe from that.

...I just realized badp's post is to the tune of that.
That explains a lot.
Also makes it much funnier.

@FAE I shared a bedroom with my sister until I was....19? 20? (I forget when my dad and I actually finished building my bedroom)

11:31 PM
@John Link?

@Ullallulloo ...
Are you sure?

@John I think.

FAE
@AshleyNunn Ah, we always had separate rooms. For the longest time though, our bedrooms had no doors because they were in new extension side of the house that my dad built and it just took a while for him to get around to finishing that part.

user15026
@FAE When I started dating my first girlfriend somehow my mom was like "perhaps then she will want her own room" so my dad and my sister and I converted his workroom into a proper part of the house, which ended up being my room + a laundry room.

user15026
11:35 PM
Mind you, I moved out a few years later, and 24 hours after I did my room was now a computer room (my dad had built the room in such a way that my bed/desk etc that he had built in could be easily removed for when I eventually moved to make the room more general purpose)

FAE
@AshleyNunn Ah, nice.

@John Well snap.
