Q: Aiming grenade throws

I keep blowing myself up and it's starting to get old. Is it possible to aim my grenade throws or at least find out roughly how far away the grenade's going to land?

I'm not going for ghost or anything, picked up the inventory/recoil augs and just got see through walls. On hardest difficulty, having fun.

I like the conversation system, how you can choose your style of response. It's immersive.

I was looking at The Baconing on the Mac App Store (MAS) and found that it is also available on Steam. Besides the price difference is there any other reason I would want the MAS version over the Steam version?

In my first playthrough, most of my boss fights have been pretty anti-climactic.

I go out of my way to stun them so I can get headshots, and then, invariably, when I'm running for my life, it's that one last random shot to the left big toe that does them in.

Hah.

Most anti-climatic kill ever.

Can you use takedowns on the first boss? I know the 2nd and 3rd counter them with a take-down of my own, but when I wound up too close to the 1st boss, he grabbed me, and punched me about.

Then I was in panic mode, because he was revving up his gatling gun while I was at his feet.

I shot him with a heavy rifle. I shot him with a laser. I shot him with everything. Then I had zero ammo left and a gas grenade killed him.

I'm just sad that that seems to be the only place you can get a plasma gun.

That's my favorite gun.

That's why you should get a magnum style gun-hand, by the way.

No spin-up.

The only lethal weapon I ever used was the 10mm and the Revolver

The Revolver with explosive shots are awesome

I don't like the Deus Ex revolver.

I'd like to be able to beat one or more insane AI opponents with Zerg. Unfortunately I can't because I'm just not skilled enough. :) I'd like to know if anyone else can, however? I've gotten the achievement to defeat 7 insane AI opponents with Protoss and Terran by turtling and massing carriers ...
