Re: Origin of Mana, the first time I remember it being used specifically as a synonym to a Magic Point was Magic the Gathering, and I remember noticing a strong uptick in it's usage in that context after that game showed up, but that could just be confirmation bias.

I think the main deciding factor is: are you asking for the existence of a type of website or are you asking a non-recommendation question (i.e. is it possible to see SC2 players listed by achievement points) that happens to have a type of website answer?

We have a widely accepted policy against game recs, not so much about website recs; 2. usually there is one accepted resource (wiki, mod db, forum, etc.) for each game, as you can see by the questions here (most NH posts will link to the nethackwiki, most Minecraft to the minepedia, most Die2Nite questions don't link to anything).

They are able to reach the resistance base and deliver the data, which contains the codes to destroy the portal as well as information on the Borealis, an enigmatic research vessel operated by Black Mesa's rival, Aperture Science.

The base then launches a satellite that is able to shut down the superportal, cutting off the Combine from outside assistance. However, as Alyx and Freeman prepare to travel to the Arctic and investigate the Borealis, they are attacked by Combine Advisors, who kill Eli Vance before being driven off by Alyx's pet robot, Dog.
