Actually, that works for passive too.

Just any kind of 3D technology will be able to do that. Just for passive, you're going to have to get special glasses.

Or hack some up.

You could do it 4 way, but it might be noticable.

What's he doing?

He switches the lenses of two 3D glasses so that one shows all left and one shows all right.

Then he sets his TV to split the screen in half, top goes left, bottom goes right.

Then start a game in split-screen and presto.

You could also do this yourself with two projectors and three 3D glasses. Pop out the lenses from the glasses and put them in front of the projector.

My Dad was doing that 3D thing 10 years ago, but EA bought him out and shut it down.

One more reason to hate EA he says he was working on it 10 years ago to everything that people say about 3D. And he's not exadurating!

Q: How can I manage separate save folders in Portal 2?

Is there a way to have separate save folders per user like there is in pretty much every other game I have played? All the saves seem to go into the same date-oriented list with no way to distinguish who played.

Q: What do you do with Play Coins?

I noticed that I get Play Coins when I walk around with my 3DS on. What are they good for? I know that Nintendo mentioned you would be able to possibly use them in games to unlock things - are there any games out now that use them? What sort of things do they do?

3-D w/o glasses uses parallax of some variety

This method works by circular polarization I believe.

Am I missing something in the small details, or is Gnomeslice pasting the same image several times?

You'd need a very special screen (silvered) to maintain polarization with a projector, otherwise the light just scatters

Ah, so you'd only need 3, plus a blank to possibly use for the "wildcard"

Actually, the text is part of the base image, it's not added in in After Effects.

@RonanForman It's not that difficult to use. Just modifying text should work the same as in Photoshop, except with a timeline.

@Arda It came up with some errors that apparently don't exist last time I used it.

@GnomeSlice If you import the PSD into After Effects it should still remain editable. Of course that depends on whether you add any effects to it.

@ArdaXi I've never done this kind of animation before, and I haven't watched the entire tutorial yet, but I don't think it works with layers kept intact.

Needs to be a flat image that you import.

Anyway, we'll figure it out.

I know that the built in PS3 backup utility will not restore copy protected game saves to a different PS3 and it isn't possible to manually copy protected game saves to an external drive....

All I know is that they're both video editors.

Premier is for traditional video editing, i.e. transitions, corrections, audio, green screen, scene layout, etc.

After Effects is for building Effect environments for those videos.

Anyway, that video showcases my first (and only) attempt at greenscreening, which as you can see, is harder than it looks.

Part of the problem was that she was sitting too close to the screen.

I'm not sure how it works in After Effects, but you want to use Premiere anyway.

Also, her script and 'acting' were terrible.

After Effects is like Photoshop with a time-line. It's meant to create motion graphics and simple transitions.

Well, I mean she's reading a script, but like, she can't keep a straight face, and she's kind of monotone.

Premiere is to video what Photoshop is to still images. A full-featured editor.

It's the only change I noticed though.

You can easily tell that he's wearing two shirts in the remade video I just linked, which probably spoils it for some people.

Now that I know what I am looking for, I know that it was totally not legit (there are little differences in the cartridge that give it away), and I now make sure to buy my games from retail stores, not ebay.

Whenever I try after having a spell selected, it just starts swapping weapons, rather than go back to dual wielding.
