Hi guys! This probably is the most dumbest question ever asked, excuse me for that. But I think physicist drive cars. I'm left with no choice to ask it(there was no auto forum of stackexch).
Does ever car has similar stirring wheel size? (Circumference)
We're planning to give our friend a stirring wheel cover, but we are not sure of size. It's Volkswagen hatcback, that's all we know

I'm stuck in my Speedometer/VSS problem, I disassembled my panel further this time
Got stuck in a piece, because the small metal spiral that receives the electromagnetic field from the speedometer is locked in its place, I think some idiot glued it where it shouldn't be glued
So I still can't get to the circuit that has the VSS sensor itself, but so far everything seems fine, from what I can see no burns in the circuit whatsoever, but I wish I could have a closer look

That small metal spiral receives the magnetic field that displaces the speedometer pointer, and it seems to be locked by pressure in a pin, but if you note close to the right there's a part of the spiral that goes out and is inside that plastic part
But I have the impression that someone glued it there, or the plastic was melted to keep it locked, when it was supposed (I guess) to come out, so I could take the spiral out and then the plastic piece

Not sure, but usually the odometer assembly shouldn't be coming apart at all.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Actually the whole odometer assembly is contained in that transparent plastic piece, which is inserted in another white plastic piece which has the magnet that spins with the speedometer cable, the VSS sensor and circuit. What I was thinking of doing was remove that transparent plastic piece with the odometer so I could access the sensor and check if there's anything odd with it, maybe something burnt, or misplaced. Problem is that small spiral there :/
I thought of a way to remove it, which would be putting something between the gap of the plastic and the spiral, and just pulling it, but I risk damaging it, and then the piece is so small/specialized that I'd probably have to buy a whole new panel
Actually, if the problem really is the VSS sensor like the ECU accuses, and I can't access it, I'll have to replace the whole panel anyways. It kind of sucks the VSS sensor is placed inside it..
