@RobertS.Barnes - I so want to plot an answer for your water injection question, but it'd be way too involved for me right now, lol.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 This is just kind of a fun question,. I think I might just dump 10 liters of 50/50 IPA/distilled water and take some before and after data just to see what happens. I actually ran my tank almost dry once and put 10 litters pure IPA in it just to see what would happen.

@RobertS.Barnes - I'm not sure about dumping 50/50 IPA/water into the tank is a great idea. Will it run? Most likely. Could it cause issues with the fuel system? Most definitely.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I mean in addition to about 30 litters regular fuel.

@RobertS.Barnes - Realistically I don't think it's going to help much. Remember, with a water/meth injection system, it's on top of what is normally injected (or carbureted) into the engine. With what you are proposing, you are going to have a mix. Knowing the alcohol, while having a higher octane rating, has less specific energy than gasoline and water has no specific energy (as compared to gas), I think you are going to run into a huge lean condition with your engine.

The water will also quench the burn to an extent.

That gives you effective octane, but ...

It will do nothing for cooling the intake charge like a water/meth injection will, either.
