Adding to that some might forget that molecules are usually not flat... and hydrogens are often implied... so there is quite some breathing room for creating telephone numbers ;)

This kinda thing has been discussed quite a few times on other SE sites, incl Academia, Workplace, etc. so may be worth taking a look at others' suggestions though.

No, that's actually not the point. I think SE is as good a site as any other and we indirectly benefit from Stack Overflow being very widely recognised in a sister field. Forgive me for this - it is basically boasting - but I have enough other academic qualifications that I don't need to list my SE activity as a serious part of my CV. Now, if this isn't the case, then I think there is a stronger argument for making your SE contributions a bit more prominent.
