@Zenix I know they're probably more than that, but HOMO/LUMO have always been nothing more than shorthand forms for me. In all the discussions I've seen the terms used, the whole thing could be explained, without ever once using either term. It's just a more elegant way of saying "that first orbital underscore thingy without half-arrows"
