I don't find the anon edits as much surprising as the fact that they have gotten approved more than a few times...
anyway... @Martin-マーチン is there a way to tell that anon user that underscores in \ce are not necessary, and neither is replacing the the character π with $\pi$, and they should stop proposing such edits
if there really is a typo and nothing else, they should just leave that, instead of adding superfluous characters to cross the 6-char mark

@GaurangTandon no, not really. This one was also actively harmful, so i have overwritten it.

Q: Can I melt down condoms to get liquid latex for dipping molds?

Steve Young III'm making prototypes for a new condom design. But I haven't found where to buy compounded pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex in any quantity less than 10,000 kilograms. I am wondering if it's to possible melt down a large quantity of latex condoms in order to get the latex in liquid form for di...

Waaaa
The sad thing is I can't find a suitable closevote reason
@Martin-マーチン "actively" - not sure about that, it just messed up the two pi bonds into delta bonds
@GaurangTandon If that's not actively harmful, I don't know what actively harmful would be.
@AvnishKabaj i find it unbelievable that he cannot find "pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex in any quantity less than 10,000 kilograms", but he's able to find the same quantity of latex condoms to melt o.O
@GaurangTandon this can probably be the close reason
@Martin-マーチン okay, maybe I just misunderstand the adverb "actively"

I gave the same reason as GT

@CowperKettle Wikipedia never ceases to amaze Comrade ;-)
This is a list of inventors whose deaths were in some manner caused by or related to a product, process, procedure, or other innovation that they invented or designed. == Direct casualties == === Automotive === Sylvester H. Roper, inventor of the eponymous steam-powered bicycle, died of a heart attack or subsequent crash during a public speed trial in 1896. It is unknown whether the crash caused the heart attack or the heart attack caused the crash. William Nelson (c. 1879−1903), a General Electric employee, invented a new way to motorize bicycles. He then fell off his prototype bike d...

@CowperKettle :O
Lemme guess, you voted Sobchak? ;P
Also, I heard your mayor resigned @Cowper? <--- The Russian version of Duterte :P
@Mart A question?
^ Which of those is a more accurate depiction of nitric oxide's 2p MOs?
(Ignore the fact that the atomic orbitals of N and O in the first diagram are depicted as having the same energies)
I know you have a post on this on the main site, but you didn't bring up the diagrams (since you said it'd be too complicated to talk about that), and the rest of the post makes no sense to my tiny undergraduate brain O:)

@paracetamol My sister was a voting station observer from Sobchak
She said that only a couple of persons in New Delhi voted for Sobchak. She and some other unknown person.
@CowperKettle wait what
@paracetamol No. Our mayor refused to resign.
New Delhi is a place in Russia
No, but there are Russians in India, and she was an observer in the Russian Embassy

I came home at 1 am with my copy of the voting protocol. I had been an observer in Yekaterinburg. And there she was, chatting with mom on Skype, holding her copy of the voting protocol.
That's how I learned that she was also an observer
@paracetamol Our mayor refused to resign.
He was the last freely elected mayor in Russia.
There was a big rally against the abolishment of mayoral elections in Yekaterinburg, but not big enough to deter Putin.

A: What can an independent election observer in Russia do if they notice irregularities?

CopperKettleI was an observer yesterday in a Yekaterinburg voting station. I had been trained at a local Alexey Navalny headquarters (video example of training), but was officially an observer from Grigory Yavlinsky. As an observer, I had the right to make suggestions to the Chairman of the Voting Station ...
