@ringo I have been trying to find a good publication about aromaticity for a long time, but have not yet been able to. There are also no good translations of the initial publication of Hückel's calculations. The goldbook summarises the setup quite well though. Just note that this set of rules is only related to aromaticity. I found a couple of papers, that I can link to later, but right now I am on vacation.
