Oh, the perks of living in the Ring of Fire (not). Here in Guatemala we also have tons and tons of volcanic activity. Not much tsunami danger, thankfully. About 2,3 years we had a very nasty situation with one of our active volcanoes, who practically buried a couple of towns that were located very near :'(

@DarkCygnus Our whole islands are built on volcanoes, some active underwater ones, but no eruption of note since 1918 and that was a huge lava flow not an explosion. Years later people returned and found the lava had parted and flowed around a church and a princess's grave. It's really weird to look at, they're not on a rise or anything. Apart from those it blanketed a huge area and wiped out everything. I'm not keen on seeing one in action. These are islands so there's nowhere to run.
