@Geobits Sometimes, yes. Typically, what is easy is in some respects simple, and vice versa. However, P = NP is simple, but hard, and creating a programming language is easy (if you do it right), but complex. I get where you are coming from. However, wouldn't you agree that, in this case, they are the same?

@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ No, I'm saying I don't mind easy questions (replying to your calculus comment). But in this case, it's just too simple IMO. There's just nothing to do and not much room to be creative with the code; the whole spec is "output the length of a string, or an error if it's an exact match for this other string".
Either way, it doesn't really matter much. It doesn't seem in danger of being closed and it's almost impossible to ask a question with net rep loss.

Another myth is that when you lose your internet connection because of having googled "google" would be to googling "google" again. And miraculously your internet connection is restored.
