Q: Don't google "google"

rybo111We all know that if you google the word "google" it will break the internet. Your task is to create a function that accepts 1 string and returns its length, in as few amount of Unicode characters as possible. However, if the given string is google, it will cause an error. For example, g('bing...

I googled google, and Google found Google on Google. Myth Busted.
@Geobits That is simply a test to see if I will google Google, which I will not. :D
Plenty of answers and answer upvotes, but no explanation for question down votes?
"google" is four characters in Sclipting for anyone who wants to win.
@rybo111 We have had several questions which are blindly downvoted... Sometimes I think it's just people think these challenges are too simple

Not all problems should be a fail-or-pass-calculus-level-difficulty problem. Sometimes it's nice to just step back from all those "intense" king-of-the-hills ^_^
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ There's a difference between easy and simple.
@rybo111 You can't google Google. You can google "Google" (the word)
@Geobits Sometimes, yes. Typically, what is easy is in some respects simple, and vice versa. However, P = NP is simple, but hard, and creating a programming language is easy (if you do it right), but complex. I get where you are coming from. However, wouldn't you agree that, in this case, they are the same?
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ No, I'm saying I don't mind easy questions (replying to your calculus comment). But in this case, it's just too simple IMO. There's just nothing to do and not much room to be creative with the code; the whole spec is "output the length of a string, or an error if it's an exact match for this other string".
Either way, it doesn't really matter much. It doesn't seem in danger of being closed and it's almost impossible to ask a question with net rep loss.
@Geobits Ah, I see. A simple misunderstanding. I agree with you on that fact--it's a tad too strict, without room for personality besides language.

Remarkable how in a short timeperiod this challenge is skyrocketing in the Don't google google search on Google.
@LukStorms That is wonderful! Thanks.
Another myth is that when you lose your internet connection because of having googled "google" would be to googling "google" again. And miraculously your internet connection is restored.
Googling 'google' will cause Google servers to divide by zero, thus breaking the internet.
@Zenadix And googling "Don't google google" brings you here. On a side-note, I hope Google create an Easter egg for this, like when you tell YouTube to "do the harlem shake".
