Wow. Crazy, indeed. It's an iron axe. I could make one with a few stones to bash a bunch of iron in shape, a sturdy tree trunk and a lot of patience if I really needed to.
it's not even the nerfs of vanilla stuff that do it for me, it's his attitude and the fact that because of his massive ego, the unhinged pack has less than half the mods of the Unleashed pack
heh, I hear minecraft's code is a prime example of spaghetti code, so I'm not really going to bother with that <_<
@MartinSojka really? I'd be surprised if it made that big a difference. Compared to the texures and sounds a few bytes per variable shouldn't matter much.
But I dont know much about java (slept through the classes in school, got 10/10, forgot all about it)
@KevinvanderVelden Something like 10-20% depending on the length of the names of your class files (which get referenced in full every time they are needed, like in method arguments and return values).
Assuming several separate GCs will play nicely with each other and clean up when the other one needs some space is delusional at best. Doubly so when designing for 32 bit systems with their more-than-2GB-RAM addressing problems, like the Java designers were.
I like how this channel can go from "we should potentially discuss a minecraft server reset" to the intricate details of Java memory management in 15 minutes flat :D
Server refresh?! sticks fingers in ears LALALALALALALALALALA....

Nevermind, stupid idea.

Anyway, I have an ultimate server. I can reach the internal IP, local host, but not the external IP. Port Forwarding is configured properly. What's wrong?
So everything's configured on your computer to accept connections, I'll have to assume port forwarding is set up right. Do you know if your provider blocks the ports you want?
@Jochem Wouldn't Windows firewall block the request using the IP even if it's the same computer?
