@Zizouz212 I am willing to join a game provided it starts past mid-October. Between now and then there is too much going on for me to participate daily. (It is daily, right?)
That'd be a question for @Emrakul or @Air, but no, I don't believe it is daily.
More like, twice a week? From my spectation.
@Seth It depends on what settings you use for the game.
Ours is orders every 3 days, retreats every 2 days, and builds every 2 days.
So that means you will always get at least 2 days between each move.
Looks like Emrak made the second game with the same settings.
ah
so not quite as slow as I thought.
Ah, that may be doable. Save for the first two weeks of October. Which is less doable.
@jmac You have your exobrains to help you out
00:05
@michaelpri Silliness. You think I give exobrains access to my e-mail? That only works in reverse.
looks up email off profile ;p
I meant to the contents of my e-mail -- my e-mail address should be common knowledge.
Or at least easy to guess.

Anyone can request to put the game on hold for a date range.
user61230
The way I imagine it working (if people like playing) is that we always have a game enqueued, and people that are eliminated just enqueue for the next game.
user61230
That being said, people would be free to hop in and out as they'd please, so long as there are seven people to keep the cycle alive (which I doubt there'll be a serious problem with)
user61230
So feel free to hop in and out when you'd like, @jmac.
I may next week then @Emrakul -- moving this weekend, so I will at least wait until that is done
user61230
Sure, sounds good!

I still have no idea what I'm doing
I'm pretty sure everyone's gonna beat the crap out of me on the first round and I'll still be trying to figure out how to move stuff
Watch some YouTube videos @Undo.
I have been
and reading strategy guides
I actually think I have a pretty decent idea, but it's the unknown unknowns that scare me
Like France and Austria and Turkey deciding that I look tasty
You are.. Germany?
no :P
Italy
Italy then?
ah
btw, I don't know if you saw the video I linked above, but it really gave me a clearer idea how the game works.
Although Air noted that a real life game vs online game is slightly different.
02:51
@Seth Yes, yes it is.
> The primary challenge to Italian supremacy, then, is the difficulty involved in making allies for the long term; it takes a player of sound tactical skill, honed persuasive abilities, and keen strategic vision
So basically not me :P
Oooh, /me reads Diplomacy wikibook
03:13
/me accidentally ends up reading a page on Italian spaghetti en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cookbook:Spaghetti_alla_Carbonara
