Is it legitimate to edit this (accepted) answer to be correct, or to note that it isn't correct? The author isn't even a user here so there's no way they can fix it. It would be fundamentally conflicting with the original intent, which is to be wrong in every particular.
I use an all-default and latest Debian stable (server), Apache, MySQL and PHP environment with different CMSs (WordPress, Drupal and others).
The CMSs contain websites with simple contact forms (name, email, phone, body).
I desire to get contact-form inputs into my machine (from CMS contact for...
@terdon When you have some time, could you please help me out with a bit of perl ? stackoverflow.com/q/54306439/3701431 cpan installed stuff, but stuff doesn't work or I'm doing something wrong.
@MichaelHomer If memory serves me well, accepted answers can be either deleted when there's enough downvotes, if we want to get rid of that one; or moderators should be able to convert it into a community wiki - and in that way editing should be much easier. But don't qw( me/on/that )
What circumstances can cause a question or answer to be deleted, and what does that actually mean?
How can a post be deleted?
When can't I delete my own post?
Can I still see my post even after it's deleted?
Can I see a list of my deleted posts?
How can I undelete one of my posts?
What does de...

No idea if that downloader.vip site is the normal legit site for malwarebytes or not
@MichaelHomer Seems perfectly legit to edit it to put a note up top. It's too bad we can't reset votes after a migrate, which is I assume what happened...
@derobert I find a bit surprising that all, or almost all, the upvotes seem to have come after migration (from accepted answer's timeline: unix.stackexchange.com/posts/20472/timeline). And after the comment about wrong semantics had been posted, too.
@Fabby The Windows guy got very curious how I wrote a script to list/show the netbackup servers I am using, remote versions and cities where they are located
@Fabby told him "found the commands in the Veritas manual"
@Fabby In my particular case, I auto-discover all my VMs, sort off, and then list IP and interface used to talk with the backup server, client version, remote server name, remote server version, if firewall rules are ok, and which city they are located....
@Fabby atm only writing a script to detect them, my "job" is to write a script to upgrade automagically any client....well, to give the script to our customers....seems fun... lol
@Fabby I do not find it funny that as a landord I have to do all the major repairs too....I prefer the filipino way....tenant is responsible for the repairs.... that is, if he wants to continue to rent it
