Well, that's kinda slow these days, but you can still run 2D desktop and it shouldn't be a problem

@derobert @terdon @Braiam - well now you can't rag on me as much, i bit the bullet and got a 2nd HDD for my laptop and moved from Fedora 14 to Fedora 19. Not feeling the love for GNOME 3 though. Feels like a step backwards, from the desktop I had in GNOME 2.32. But adapting, still wondering if I should've gone w/ LXDE. Thoughts?
15:49
@slm I'm just too adaptable, I wouldn't ask myself for a subjetive opinion

@Braiam - I'm a creature of habit, I like my desktop to be the same as it's been for 10 years 8-). Less playing with it.

If Braiam or whoever approved his edit to "How do I apply parameters to specific kernels with GRUB 2?" around: meta.unix.stackexchange.com/questions/2560/…

Why do I get this error make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. when i try to make gtk?
@strugee No, it doesn't need updating, this is still correct. I'm not a unix professional.
@Tommy because there's no makefile in the current directory. At a guess, first run ./configure
23:57
@Gilles okay, but I would hardly call you an "amateur". your answers speak for themselves
