Irony. You: "soul vision". Me: "Huh?"

also, almost nothing has ever been invented as the sole vision of a single person. New inventions become obvious, almost inevitable, as understanding of previous inventions and discoveries (and the implications thereof) permeate the culture.
sole invention is a convenient fiction, propaganda for those who want to turn everything - including ideas - into monopoly property.

I've edited a file in a program which doesn't care about .editoconfig rules. Is there any tool which can for those rule upon a file. For example, tool -i .editconfig -o file.txt, something like sed.

@Jesse_b I don't think that's true either, but I don't see any point in arguing about it. I'm not saying everyone has or should have a computer. Maybe you don't really have a need or use for it, and a phone works for you. But the functions that a computer serves are not easily replaced by a phone, however powerful.
And maybe a lot of people who don't have computers now didn't really need them, and could make do with something smaller and more compact. I don't know.
I do know that most of the things I do with a computer I could not comfortably do with a phone. In some cases, they would very difficult, bordering on impossible. Certainly extremely inconvenient. Of course, if I was stuck on a desert island with a magic phone that never lost its charge, I would try to use it for everything I currently use a computer for.
@Jesse_b The gasoline automobile is likely to be replaced by the electric one, sure, but that's a comparatively minor change.

@JeffSchaller Thanks for the ping, Jeff. Cannot understand the rationale on SO side...even if closed, a 11 y question w/ 90 votes and 200k views was deleted because aparently someone does not like decompilers? Odd. Have a nice Sunday.

@RuiFRibeiro sure; sorry to hear we lost a link! I asked around about that Hopper SO question and was told that it was "voted by 10 users to delete as (possibly) a request for software". Have a great Sunday yourself! :)
