Hi @EliahKagan: Encourage people who come here with questions to ask them on the site - even if the question is not very well formed (it can always be edited). If the question is sufficiently concrete to ask in chat, it's concrete enough to ask on the site.

This is obviously even more desirable if the question is actually (gasp) a good one, and if you have an answer for the poster.

Now, to try to remember how to add schema to the LDAP server... :-/
