@terdon I don't have a problem with surreal in its place, but that is not in a chat room. If I want surreal I can watch "The Mighty Boosh" or something.

Language is the most common topic, just not the only one. A lot of politics as well, for example.

While I've no great love for Islam, I have a really low tolerance for that kind of thing.

And it has tended to be a fast track to various vile behaviors.
