@slm Thx. I think people like that need to see there is some consensus about how to ask questions, and then they'll happily get with the program. But if it just looks like me being a busy-body or a jerk, then the point gets dismissed.

how can i stop debian (jessie) from pulling from cdn.debian.net/debian repo? (suggested repo for iceweasel release by mozilla.debian.net)

@sterz remove it from your /etc/apt/sources.list or delete its file from /etc/apt/sources.list.d
