Hi there, I'm applying for graduate school and wondering if it would be helpful to include my Stack Exchange profile and GitHub profile in the CV. What are your suggestions? (I'm aware of the questions on this topic, but I'm asking specifically about my profile)
Ah I forgot to mention that I'm an undergraduate in Statistics, and the program I'm applying to is Stanford's Master of Science in Computational and Mathematical Engineering, Data Science Track.
@user116951 Thanks for the input! Yeah, that's a little... embarrassing. I believe there is an option to hide my Academia.SE profile from the network profile, though.
IIRC I can also ask a moderator to disown that specific question from my account.
I just realized that my questions on Academia.SE are mostly rant, which I agree would have a negative impact on my application, but I'm not sure whether my activities on other communities would be helpful.
