@M.A.R. Because you know a lot about many things, I am gonna ask you this. I am wondering why there isn't an SE site for Action Figures, given the huge demand for these collectibles/toys/figures ...
Maybe someone should try to open one
there is an SE site for Lego called "Bricks" ...

@Lambie My breakfast: Borodinsky bread, chicken meat and ketchup
Borodinsky bread (Russian: бородинский хлеб) or borodino bread is a dark brown sourdough rye bread of Russian origin, traditionally sweetened with molasses and flavored with coriander and caraway seeds. == Preparation == Borodinsky bread is traditionally made (with the definite recipe fixed by a ГОСТ 5309-50 standard) from a mixture of no less that 80% by weight of a whole-grain rye flour with about 15% of a second-grade wheat flour and about 5% of rye, or rarely, barley malt, leavened by a separately prepared starter culture made like a choux pastry, by diluting the flour by a near-boiling (95...
I like this kind of dense-texture bread.
I don't like the americanized bread that is full of air.

but I am not an "expert" ... I won't be able to answer "expert" level questions
Chronologically, SO was created, then it became popular and they expanded the topics by adding SE 1.0 sites, for obvious topics: Math, ServerFault, SuperUser, and Programming

I am just someone who dearly loves action figures, but I am too poor to purchase them
(Which is now Software Engineering due to the unfortunate flux of OT questions associated with the site name "Programming")
Then Area51 came along, and SE 2.0 sites followed a semi-strict proposal etc. stages to become private and then public betas.
That's most of the other SE sites out there.
So the reason there is no ActionFigures.SE is, of course, because nobody proposed it or the proposal didn't gain enough followers if there is one.

right ... damn I wish I was an expert ...

Although a lesson from years of many many failed betas or proposals: Just because a topic is popular doesn't mean people would be interested in participating in an SE site dedicated to it
It also needs to "suck", in a way
Lots of confused souls about how to go about, say, attaching the head of the action figure after it's been broken that an SE question on it would be interesting and popular
Programming languages are like that. Natural languages are also like that, and so are the many different fields of science
But, it's obvious why, for example, Boardgames.SE won't ever get off the ground as well as Chess.SE would

@AIQ What really matters is the frequency of the questions that pop into my mind when I'm reading a reference book on topic X, making me type X.SE into the search bar and find somewhere to ask them
They happen to be often difficult concepts, but more importantly, imperfect guidance that leaves a lot of gaps to be filled

one of the biggest problems is that SE wants an already established community before we can make a proposal
I am not into social media at all ..
I am really confused as to what is so unclear about my question ... Jason keeps saying it isn't clear ... I tried to explain it so many times ... It is a simple thing ...
@AIQ But that has nothing to do with answering the question—and it also contradicts itself. Either you tell others how to act or you don't. It's not clear what you're saying. — Jason Bassford 5 mins ago

Wouldn't "non-martial artists" imply "artists that are not martial"? What are the grammatical rules for this? — Robin Heller 2 hours ago
@RobinHeller that is indeed the implication. I suppose one could have non martial-artists which would mean everything which is not a martial artist and so would include the Eiffel tower, the planet Mercury, a sparrow, a bottle of milk, and me but I imagine that would be rarely needed and almost pathological. — mdewey 51 mins ago
Seems like a good question ...
Yeah, I guess people would think "[non-martial] artists" than "non-[martial artists]".
That does not make the latter intention at meaning any less right, though.

@CowperKettle Who eats "Americanized" bread? I eat home-baked, whole wheat bread made with organic flour.....and it's pretty hefty.
15:42
@Lambie That's good. I'm not against the US, it's only that this kind of light-texture bread first appeard here in the 1990s. Thankfully, it has not spread, because people love the local bread. And the local types of bread are really flourishing, there are dozens of exotic variants.

So exotic. Videos. I have never been in an earthquake area during an event.
I'm amazed at how people can live and not be afraid in such areas.

I remember when an earthquake hit Spitak in Armenia in 1988. I was a stupid schoolboy and did not understand the severity of this. People were shocked.

@CowperKettle Oh we are afraid, then just forget
What I vividly remember about an Earthquake was when I was 15 and my brother was 9, we had a crappy home back then that shook scarily. So this quake comes and I'm all panic (mom and dad are away and we're in a neighbor's house) and I run and grab a door for that famous Earthquake "safe" stance, and my little brother was playing with a toy car like nothing happened, making car noises and all attention to his toy
