There's an HNQ question about the type of questions on exams, and one of the answers says multiple choice or true/false questions are easy, while implying essayistic ones are harder. By introducing negative points to the first type, exams become much, much harder, not to mention that T/F questions are often ambiguous. There's never a mu option. Luckily, some professors at my university allow writing down an additional explanation, or asking for clarification during the exam.
