I hate lunar new year very much, especially in this homeland. On Jan. 15 a saleperson on the road gave me one kind of snack and said "This only takes xxx dollars and you can buy it to eat during lunar new year festival." I originally felt that snack tastes good and wanted to check how much it costs and considered it may be a good idea to buy it, but as I heard of her mentioning to lunar new year festival, I quit.
today the air temperature drops again; it's only 14 C now.

though not everyone is a food gourmet, nobody would go home to unit if there is no food at home.
though "no free meal" is common remark, everyone expects free meal when at home.
it's like there has been some lunar-new-year desolation on the air.

> For chemotherapy, taxans were administered to 17 patients (60.7%) and to 11 others (39.3%).
I thought: who on earth are others?

Hi, would someone please tell me what this man is saying at 00:58' ? (What I hear and the auto generated subs are saying is this: "Newton assured in an age, the Newtonian age...", but that means nothing, I checked all meanings of "assure" and none of them fits here). Oh, finally I've figured it out! It's "usher" :DDD.

@Moytaba I’m glad you got it figured out!
@Moytaba Oh, I'm a bit late but I've heard that very sentence before
Yeah so
@CowperKettle Control group? Context?
Or maybe the doctors wanted to try taxans too?
Maybe tastes like chicken
@CaptainBohemian I prefer to call it Chinese New Year, because the Chinese calendar doesn't just depend on the moon, and there are other calendars that depend on the moon, and only the Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year.
@snailboat I found this pic of a very handsome African snail in my Twitter and thought you might enjoy it: twitter.com/41Strange/status/1089257365474488320?s=20

@ColleenV Aren't most snails asexual?
Or maybe bisexual, I forgot
Call it handiful. Or beautisome
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ handsome can be used for either gender and for objects
So can "beautiful", I think
I wouldn’t call that snail pretty with that proud head an distinguished markings ;)
It’s not exactly “lovely” either
Well snail tastes probably differ
The world is full of such strange and wonderful things...
That 41 strange Twitter account posts some really interesting pictures of art and creatures and ... stuff

Like subarctic wildlife
Not that sub, the other sub
Under the ocean
Did you hear that they found possibly the oldest piece of earth in one of the rocks that was brought back from the moon ?
Oldest, how?
Meaning, it didn't undergo too many changes so the composition is probably like what it was 4 billion years ago?
Aaaand NatGeo's blocked too. I'd check it out tomorrow, I still have functioning VPNs on mobile device
Night, I should get some sleep
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Goodnight. I’ll see if I can find another source

@Jasper then I don't feel like a Chinese because I haven't celebrated it for years. In the beginning when I stopped celebrating it, I felt it as a desolation pain, then I tried to overlook it gradually in the following years. I really hope to be in a place nobody celebrates it whenever it comes.
