Why does he write "A correct form"?

Q: Is it "human and physical capitals" or "human and physical capital"?

DeansueI am writing an essay that has this clause: Due to the flight of human and physical capitals as a result of lower transportation costs,... It gave me a pause because I realize "capital" in this sense is uncountable. But given the context is about two different types of capital, should "capi...

I came across the expression "chew the fat" and it's horrible.
Yucky.
I imagine a person chewing a piece of animal fat. Ugly, disgusting.
I wonder how such expressions come to be adopted. We have some in Russian too, probably. I don't know.

"Chew the fat" or "chew the rag" are English expressions for gossiping or making friendly small talk also a long and informal conversation with someone. == Origin == === Chew the fat === Although some sources attribute the phrase "chew the fat" to sailors, who during a period of resting and conversing, or while working together, would chew on salt-hardened fat, there are no reliable historical recordings of this practice. It has even been suggested that the phrase is derived from a practice by North American Indians or Inuit of chewing animal hides during their spare time, and even of B...
@CowperKettle Yes. Perhaps it's not of very high formality if we drop the of, but it's common to do so.

@CowperKettle He's correcting the sentence in the answer that says "The correct form". He's making the point that there is more than one "correct form".
12:31
@CowperKettle And you should have. Out of whose and which, whose is the correct form. They also added a smiley so that you'd know they're not being pedantic for real. (I didn't wanna comment further because of a certain user's comprehension problems, to put it that way.)

hey guys. could someone please check this sentence?
Quality-wise is there any difference if your system is analog or digital?

@snailboat ell.stackexchange.com/a/165044/3395 Does this answer have merit? I guess when I read the sentence at issue a lot of times it doesn't make much sense to put the that-clause after the verb, but when I go back and just read it normally, the sentence doesn't sound that badly constructed as the answerer makes it out to be. I don't know if I'm paranoid due to some discussions I've had recently, lol, but their advice sounds like something straight out of a usage manual.
Maybe the original is colloquial, but the suggested sentence strikes me as stilted at best.
Hope y'all're having a great day!
