Word of the day: chamomile
>
If you pronounce it /ˈkæməˌmiːl/
That will your Yankiness reveal
'Cos Brits assume it more worthwhile
To render it as /ˈkæməˌmaɪl/
10:12
>
So wear a wreath of /ˈkæməˌmiːl/
To make your beauty sweeter still,
Then pour some tea with /ˈkæməˌmaɪl/
To have your lunch in British style

Just some casual fun stuffs I made :-) I can't make anything more attractive or complete the tasks yet. This is quick job :-)
14:07
@CowperKettle Very Nice.
14:28
@Man_From_India Very nice.
@Jasper Thanks Jasper.

16:21
@Man_From_India Wow!
Can you overlay some chamomile on it? (0:
16:52
@Man_From_India, Very Very nice.
Thanks @V.V. and @CowperKettle
@CowperKettle what is that? :O
17:41
> The study of the activity of the monoclonal bispecific antibody against [antigens] includes a pilot and a main study. (or studies?)

19:08
@CowperKettle Actually I would rewrite the sentence so that it doesn't use the word study twice...

Do people use the word perchance in conversation? I've heard it in an American show filmed in 2010.
I mean, the year in the show is also 2010.
The speaker was an attorney; the conversation wasn't too formal, however, it was between two people who don't know each other. I know I probably shouldn't overanalyze stuff like this, and conversations in a TV show are definitionally scripted, but nevertheless.
@CowperKettle You didn't know the word camomile? In my first language it's the same thing (kamilica).
@userr2684291 Your pic keeps changing, lol.
@Jasper Indeedy.
@userr2684291 I am hanging out in the IPS room these days as well.
Earlier this week, some SE user sent me a very abusive email.
I am still thinking of how to handle the matter.
20:49
@Jasper Yeah?
Yeah, I won't disclose any details here, but the reason he sent me what he did and the contents, well, they are shocking.
Maybe I will just email some of my other SE friends to tell them to beware of this guy.
@Jasper Oh...
@userr2684291 Is school starting next week for you?
I hope it didn't cut you to the quick.
@Jasper Looks that way.
Or maybe it's started already, haha.
I don't think I will play chess again, lol.
20:54
Why's that?
Online chess is boring, not like offline chess.
I haven't played since our last game.
My meta post got 10 votes, lol.
@Jasper Great.
@userr2684291 Hey if school has started you should be busy studying, not hanging out in a chat room, lol.
21:05
@Jasper Not really, it's the first week.
It hasn't actually started. I don't know what day it is today, but I checked my emails last Sunday and nothing was there.
@userr2684291 LOL. It's Thursday night there.
@Jasper Looks like it's Thursday here so it can't be Thursday in your timezone.
@userr2684291 It's Friday morning here now.
@Jasper Great, looking ... to the weekend? Haha. (There should be some word there, but it escapes me.)
@userr2684291 Forward you mean, lol.
21:12
That's the one.
Every day is the same for me, since I am not working and I am sick.
Ah, yeah. Sorry, I forgot.
But yes, I do prefer the weekends because usually my mum will be off from work on one of the days.
And I also usually go to my favourite mall for inspiration during the weekends.
Haha.
@Jasper Inspiration for what?
@userr2684291 Inspiration to sort out my thoughts to get well.
21:15
I see.
And I usually have a haircut at the end of the month.
So I think maybe tonight I will go out for a haircut and a walk at the mall.
Good luck with the inspiration.
The danger in emailing people you meet on SE is this.
Sometimes, they are very different from what you initially think and turn out to be really bad.
But I guess you need to take some risks if you want to talk to more people. =)
@Jasper Good luck with that too. If I were you, I wouldn't email that person back.
@userr2684291 Yeah, I am never going to say a single word to him ever again. If I see him I will run far away.
21:24
@Jasper Sounds good.
21:44
@Jasper Do you hear the difference in the pronunciation of the word between the prescribed way (the transcription above) and the way the guy who read the example phrase pronounced it?
In my view he freakin' butchered the word.
@userr2684291 I am not subscribed to the site. Does that make a difference? What am I supposed to click on other than the microphone symbols at the top of that page?
@userr2684291 Oh, I see. "An air of insouciance"
@Jasper The speaker symbol next to the example phrase.
@userr2684291 You are right, the way he pronounced it is different from the IPA there.
@Jasper I'm aware that some people tend to replace a /S/ with /s/ in some words (such as tissue), but this person seems to have done the opposite.
@userr2684291 I don't know if the other pronunciation is used. You will need to check other sources for that.
21:58
@Jasper Webster's Dictionary has it.
@AwesomeGuy12 Welcome.
He can't talk though. Needs 20 rep to talk.
@Jasper I know, haha.
Their presence has been noted, however.
I'm tired.
Go and sleep then.
Or...
I could go ahead and watch some stupid show and sleep in tomorrow?
Haha.
Yes, watch Good Will Hunting.
22:03
No.
LOL
You sound so much like the friend I talk to the most.
But I think it is safe to say you are two different people, lol.
This is the second time I'm re-watching this show.
What show?
I'm too embarrassed to tell you, lol.
It's OK.
I watch all kinds of movies as well.
22:10
It's not about that.
Haha.
Then what is it?
It's a good, albeit ancient, show. It's like I'm stuck in the past.
Oh, that's not embarrassing.
But I always gain a new insight even though I don't exactly remember everything; sometimes I don't remember certain episodes at all.
Can you tell me what show?
22:15
@Jasper Sorry.
OK. =)
@userr2684291 My favourite show you know. Hindsight (2015) starring Laura Ramsey. =)
I probably won't get a chance to watch that for the next couple of years.
(Too busy re-watching old shows, re-reading old books.)
Haha.
I'm always behind these things. Movies and music have never been important to me.
I don't watch drama series either. I only watched this because of Laura Ramsey.
Maybe one day I will get to go out with her, LOL.
@Jasper (:
@Jasper For some reason the first actress that comes to mind that I found attractive is Elinor Donahue in The Andy Griffith Show, haha. I watched that show a couple of years ago for no real reason. She starred in the first season only, if I remember correctly.
22:42
Aight. G'night, all y'all.
OK.

Did you guys know that you can't type the exact same thing twice consecutively in chat?
