@El'endiaStarman These could be underground or something. I'm kinda imagining a 2-3 story hotel in the plateau horseshoe (or built into this volcano), with a big lobby of tables+portals, and rooms assigned to each user. The maps area would be on top.

@epicTCK If it's at your own base away from spawn then fine, go crazy. But for farms and utilities near or at spawn there may be more competition for various designs, so keep in mind that e.g. a normal wheat farm may someday be replaced with an automatic one

Incidentally, I do think it'll be a little better to use picks/shovels to clip the wings. TNT only destroys so much, and it's much harder to obtain gunpowder with the new combat system.

It took me at least an hour to find diamonds, but once I did, I found two more veins within like 20 minutes.

Actually, maybe there's been some confusion as to what is "my base" on the 1.9 server. My "base" is a mountain around -450x 300z. I also have a chest full of my stuff at the top of the community mine.

Yeah, that was consistently my problem.

I looked up a chart of ore frequencies and it looks like there won't be any real difference in iron abundance if you move up.
