What do you mean by "13s"?
If you mean the kind of pattern of the s(293) that has a rational side length... it appears that it was an incredible one-off mathematical coincidence. I just checked for others in its series, and all of them are beaten by other known patterns, and don't even make rational side lengths anyway.

@Deadcode Oops, there actually are others with rational side lengths, probably an infinite number of them. They're about exponentially sparse though. And none of them aren't beaten by other known patterns. So I guess it could make a code golf challenge, but since only one of them is a good packing in general, it might not be interesting enough.

@ATaco I'm not super familiar with it, but I think this is a core feature of Trilangle (which come to think of it was probably inspired by Hexagony's 6 IPs, which take turns Brian and Chuck-style)
There are too many langs with geometry puns

Taking turns is just slightly out of spec, And too easy to design for
Source Configs for some fantastic reason allow you to loop, store data, so-on and so-on, but you can only do anything meaningfully on a separate "thread" to what-ever's looping.

I've managed to get my current terrain generation pretty fast, it's near-instantaneous for 512×512
The diamond-square is pretty fast ofc, and the water generation uses a janky pqueue sorta thing for choosing the best place to place the next water cell
Since I already draw chunks one at a time, I could probably make the terrain generation happen at chunk loading time if I wanted bigger worlds
one cool thing that was sort of accidental is that the map generation is currently toroidal

@ATaco Does BitCycle fit? Each bit on the playfield could be considered a separate thread; they all tick at the same time (in implementations, they're handled one at a time, but their order is undefined behavior) and the language is definitely not TC with only one (since they're also the only way to store data and each stores one bit).

One minor actual thing, come to think of it--IMO the spec makes this clear enough, but I am still reminded of how people asked if prefix/postfix notation was valid for the quandle challenge so that could be good to call out as one of many legal ways to serialize a tree for input
(and I guess it might actually be a little less clear here because of the note about being able to assume that "the" string representation is fully parenthesized--could be read to imply that no string representation other than infix is permitted)
