Real trees

The clouds accidentally left the freezer door open for a bit today. Alas, not enough sky ice graced the ground with its presence to be suitable for consumption

And now it's all melted meaning 0 sky ice was treated as a snack

@rydwolf Yes it is.... but maybe it shouldn't be. Have you tried using Record<string, Room> instead?

Or even better Map<String, Room>

the weirdest part of going to CMU is meeting people with families who like...pressured them to go to an elite college?

like my dad grew up poor in east texas and my mom is a receptionist I was under zero pressure and I don't think they even knew which colleges I was applying for and it's bizarre to me that people have concerns like "what if my younger subling doesn't get into as prestigious of a college and then it's my fault for making them look bad"

like I think I knew the names of at most four ivies before a week before college apps were due

also another thing that's kind of a culture shock is people who have parents who are so overprotective they're on the other side of the country and still calling multiple times a day

like my parents text me pictures of my cat doing something stupid once a month or so and I heart the picture so they know I'm alive and that's exactly the extent to which I desire to be in contact with them

like I don't understand how you could live with parents like that for 18 years and not like, train them into not being so obsessive?

@rydwolf would be happy to receive such training tips

imo once a month is a bit low for contact two or three times a week sounds more reasonable

multiple times a day is crazy though

that being said actually doing voice phone calls is even worse than I even knew possible
