looks an awful lot like L

@ATaco BQN, 26 bytes: {16>𝕩?9<𝕩;(𝕊⌊𝕩÷16)×9<16|𝕩}
Or if it's okay for 0 to return truthy (or not be handled), 22 bytes: {×𝕩?(𝕊⌊𝕩÷16)×9<16|𝕩;1}
(BQN has no base conversion builtins.)
@ATaco Kotlin, 36 bytes: {it.toString(16).all{it.isLetter()}}
00:52
@DLosc it's unfortunate, yeah

1 hour later…

@ATaco Scala, 25 bytes: _.toHexString forall 60.<
What to do when an ancient question lack some test case?
@ATaco Charcoal, 7 bytes: ›⌊⍘N¹⁶@

@l4m2 Try the assumed test-case on some older answers for consistancy?
> A straight flush is a poker hand containing five cards of sequential rank, all of the same suit. As part of a straight flush, an ace can rank either above a king or below a two. An ace can rank either high (e.g. A♥ K♥ Q♥ J♥ 10♥ is an ace-high straight flush) or low (e.g. 5♦ 4♦ 3♦ 2♦ A♦ is a five-high straight flush), but cannot rank both high and low in the same hand (e.g. Q♣ K♣ A♣ 2♣ 3♣ is an ace-high flush, not a straight flush).
uhm ackshully a straight flush is anything that's a straight and a flush
thunk said so himself
My last version say S="A23456789TJQKA"(aka. reject A as K+1) and pass all tests

CMC: Find the longest continuous subset of an array that matches a given Predicate. You may assume there will be only one solution.

Duck Thuck Go?
Yep that's the new hidden search engine all the hip kids use

Turns out you can just download ip -> location databases from github
No need for those shitty APIs
Accuracy probably isn't great but even the paid ones have terrible accuracy

2 hours later…
14:52
no shit!
not like I clicked the "copy link" button or anything
It's called interface feedback?

1 hour later…
16:16
I'd prefer an actual link that I can right-click copy
17:00
That's how it usually works, there is a link, click to copy, but if you right click you can also select your browsers default "copy" function
17:23
no, that toast appeared after using Chrome's "Copy link address" context menu item
which doesn't really seem like a thing that warrants a notification to me
💀
yeah WHY???
the mobileappification of desktop ui
17:57
GIving some feedback for something that would otherwise be invisible is always good
6
Otherwise you will be wondering "is it copied or not"
People tend to copy multiple times just to be sure
while i do think that the notification thing isn't that bad, the way to know if you copied it or not is... trying to paste it
Which often requires alt tabbing to some program where paste has an effect
It's not exactly easy
18:19
@mousetail'he-him' I have literally never done this
feel like copying is only unreliable with stuff like image data instead of plaintext links
I generally don't either, except sometimes I'm 100% sure I've copied a thing and then it's not on my clipboard for some reason... not sure how that happens.
yep
That's what happens with image data sometimes :P

20:05
wat???
year -4712 :P
20:36
except

2 hours later…
22:15
@Ginger it's good to have some indication a copy operation was successful, and where else can it go when you've used the context menu?
Like how some websites with a copy button will change the icon of the copy button once you click it
Except there's no copy icon present after you click copy link
23:02
thanks google
23:45
@AlephSquirrel Oh you're also on ChromeOS?
That's what I'm on, the deadkey for dotted letters is AltGr+. for top dot and AltGr+Shift+_ for lower dot
Also hooked letters are AlrGr+Shift+?, took me a while to discover that one

A: Sandbox for Proposed Challenges

noodle personBasic Uiua Planet Notation code-golf uiua Sandbox note: I have another challenge in the works which expands on this one and includes more complicated "planet notation" expressions. Uiua is a stack-based array programming language, and with the great power of a stack comes the great responsibility...

@SandboxPosts I would love feedback on this challenge, particularly if you aren't familiar with Uiua or stack-based programming.
(If it looks familiar, I originally posted it as a CMC on the discord, but it's not quite "mini" enough for a CMC :P)
Final grades are out. 3 As and a C (the C being my hardware security class), I'm pretty happy with that
I realized that technically I no longer have 45 units (15 hours) of letter-grade courses after dropping diff eq, which makes me technically ineleigible to take more than five classes next semester, but I'm hoping my advisor either doesn't notice or can be convinced to approve it anyway
