Random challenge idea: code golf duct tape - gluing together solutions to various challenges with (I/O format transforming only) glue scripts to achieve an overall task. E.g. you could implement the nth triangle number by multiplying n by itself, adding n and shifting right by half a bit twice

It'd need a more rigid spec to work well - you'd want to use actual answers to those challenges rather than their specs, both for observability and to allow some quirky exploits with unintended inputs

Constants would be quite difficult to get, which could be quite interesting. The way I was thinking of setting it up was as a cops-and-robbers - cops specify a task and a "par" of the number of solutions they've used (or, number of times they've used solutions), robbers try and tie or beat that. Looping would be extremely difficult (to the point where it's possible people might have to invoke interpreter challenges, although that'd be extremely expensive) but I think it'd be interesting
