I don't think you can bypass mobile data limits by messing with your network card. That's baked into the SIM card

The phone company should enforce that serverside

There are devices that allow you to read the exact code on the SIM card and see exactly what is happening though, those might interest you

If you set up USB debugging there is (or used to be) an option of proxying HTTP traffic

You could even install SSL certificates but that only worked for some games

I guess it depends on if the game used the "Default" http library or a different one

Yeah, we do not have much activity from northern-hemisphere ROs. Between me and lyxal the hours when we're awake are mostly fine, but when we're both asleep it's sometimes a while before stuff gets handled

Do you think instead of choosing the number of ROs we elect in advance, we could just do a thing where anyone who meets certain criteria and vote thresholds is elected? I feel like having people here compete against each other would be kind of silly, given that I have a high amount of trust in everyone who's been here a decent amount of time, and more ROs is rarely to never a problem

E.g., anyone who's been in TNB for more than six months and gets at least a 3:1 up:downvote ratio (with some minimum number of votes) just gets RO status

yeah that makes sense to me. another question would be do we want to just add new ROs or cycle the whole RO list and remove anyone who doesn't want to continue / doesn't respond to an election? in favor of the former is it doesn't really matter if we have a bunch of inactive ROs as long as we have enough active ones and in favor of the latter is that way people better know who to try to reach out to

but yeah i agree with you on that, i don't think there's really a point in having a limited seat count
