Ok, so: if you really want easy rep/challenges, the best way to go about it is:
1. learn how to write a challenge without the Sandbox. The Sandbox only slows you down. Unfortunately, this takes time and practice.
2. browse various maths websites e.g. OEIS, Wikipedia, etc. for math/sequence challenges
3. write them up, and give them a catchy title

I have no problem with "off-topic" discussion, mainly because people aren't just here to discuss code golf 100% of the time. Chat is intended to be a "third place" where we discuss things we're interesting in - and, because we share an interest in code golf, we're likely to share an interest in other things. If that off-topic conversation becomes noise, or things that people genuinely thing should spin off into other rooms (e.g. politics, your opinions on Elon buying Twitter etc.) then yeah, go ahead, make a new room and we can move there.

If messages are legit noise tho? Yeah, trash that, kick repeat offenders, etc. But for off-topic but legit convos? I don't see a problem with those

GPT-3, Codex, Copilot, etc are all prone to moments of unhelpfulness

so it comes with the territory imo

@graffe if you want a feel of what AI text competition is like, I recommend you try out the GPT-3 beta. It doesn't do code, but it does give an idea of how to optimise prompts to get what you expect
