@RedwolfPrograms hey look it's in color
@RedwolfPrograms you did say they were in color for a reason

I think you're doing it right, just in reverse

@RedwolfPrograms okay
hm
@RedwolfPrograms reversed it
now how do i combine that with sort it
hm

Hmm, not the reverse I'd meant. What exactly did you do to get that image?

@RedwolfPrograms I just removed all pixels that had a non-max alpha

Oh, nvm
I thought you were doing something different

10:10 PM
...
okay

@GingerIndustries :)

@RedwolfPrograms still a stupid pun

(Closer)

> What you're looking for is a black and white image the same size as the original image

> maybe if i sort the others

Oh wait I wasn't going to give any more hints lol

10:12 PM
@RedwolfPrograms i think i get it

Okay, well I'm going to be silent for the next hour or so in order to not spoil more of it

alr i guess
;-;
@RedwolfPrograms progress update:
@RedwolfPrograms I converted all the pixels to greyscale and sorted by brightness
maybe if I do that to each band
@RedwolfPrograms NOW IN COLOR:

@RedwolfPrograms this still means nothing to me but at least it's progress

It means a lot more than you think

10:27 PM
@RedwolfPrograms maybe now i should try the "convert to unicode" trick

Hi!

You're back!!!

who?
confusion
hey caird

10:35 PM
I'm working on redwolf's latest stego challenge
i've gotten as far as weird rainbow image thing

That's further than I've gotten :P

i'm trying to convert that to color
not color text
@RedwolfPrograms i'm going to remove duplicates and see if anything happens

@cairdcoinheringaahing my very unfinished language Tictac is also basically anyfix

gtg, when I get back I'm marking this as safe

@emanresuA ಠ_ಠ
@RedwolfPrograms are image channels involved in this

10:47 PM
Is it expected that the author implements challenges himself before posting them? E.g. checking all the test cases against an implementation (potentially ungolfed).

@ThomasWeller AFAIK no, but I personally would advise it

@ThomasWeller You don't have to, it's not unusual to not do so, but it's always a good way of making sure your test cases are correct

@cairdcoinheringaahing precisely
back

@RedwolfPrograms I was about to make the obligatory "what are you complaining about we have way hotter only here" joke but then I saw Christmas is only gonna be 2° (Fahrenheit and Celcius) hotter here meaning it isn't actually way hotter than you

10:58 PM
@RedwolfPrograms I require a hint
i'm stuck getting text out of these pixels
;-;
@RedwolfPrograms halp

Q: Self-unshuffling strings

ArnauldTo shuffle a string \$s\$, Alice applies the following algorithm: She takes the ASCII code of each character, e.g. "GOLF" → \$[ 71, 79, 76, 70 ]\$ She sorts this list from lowest to highest: \$[ 70, 71, 76, 79 ]\$ She reduces each value modulo the length of the string (4 in this case), leading t...
