i still think it violates the intended purpose, trust, and responsibility of what a moderator is meant to be and even if we can be 100% sure absolutely nothing will technically go wrong we still have the problem that "we said mods would be community-trusted users who will uphold community standards, except this weird account which is a bot that scans every incoming item and has the power to autoflag, and it has mod powers but we're just going to ping you slightly louder, don't worry about it"

As an RO it's my duty to be endlessly unable to do any work because I compulsively check chat, the pings for every message just help me do that more compulsively :p
the first part is not highlighted, the second (now removed) part is, it made the sound when you edited it in and when you edited it but not when you edited it out
@RedwolfPrograms i simply check chat more often than there are actually messages and therefore do not need the sound to prompt me :p
and when i'm particularly busy, i want the ping sound to actually draw my attention, otherwise if i have it ping on every message i'll learn to tune it out probably

I think maybe we should write short summaries (1-2 sentences) of our sections, so we can get an idea of what we'll write about, and go ahead and put them in a sensible order so we can know what sections can be referenced within others.
Current sections are listed here, but if anyone wants theirs changed that shouldn't be too difficult.
Honestly, I think the biggest problem with starting the blog is that we have too many people. If we limit the first one to just a couple of users, and rotate it though each time, it's likely to be much more sustainable
