It does use a wrapper, viewable on GitHub, for the site-wide navigation panel, but you can load it without wrapper.

This seems promising. Now the only obstacle left is learning an entire new language with a much large alphabet than I'm used to. This may take some time...
And someone finally tricked me into playing 2048. Back in a few months...

@trichoplax easy. vm2 the JS
Not sure if there's a nice web version of vm2 though, and not sure how much it'll affect performance
01:31
@ASCII-only vm2 is only for nodejs

vm2 has solve turing problem confirm

Question: is $\forall x \in \mathbb{Z} : \ln(x) \notin \mathbb Q$
Anonymous
@Downgoat No: ln(1) = 0
Anonymous
However, that holds for all x > 1
do you have a link to a proof?
e is not integer though
oh wait i can't read sorry
Anonymous
03:42
Basically: if ln(n) = a/b for an integer n > 1, then n**b = e**a, and thus e is a root of x**a - n**b, and therefore an algebraic number. But e is a transcendental number, so contradiction. Therefore ln(n) is irrational for all integers n > 1.
oh ok that makes sense thanks
04:08
@Mego you mean e is transcendental at the end tbere

@quartata Yeah that one. I'm tired :P

Anyone up for a challenge tonight, have a look at this secret santa problem I just posted in math SE: math.stackexchange.com/questions/2896780/…

Is this on-topic?
@Mr.Xcoder Not the way it's been proposed, I think? If someone rewrites it, I think it could be a decent challenge
I don't have a strong opinion, so I'll leave it up to others to decide whether it's on-topic or not. Now, I think it is understated and that it is somewhat close to the edge of our scope.

Q: Base64 in image that decodes to the image itself

user72528Can you make an image (any format, any compression level), with readable base64 in it that decodes to the image itself? If yes, provide the image and base64. If no, prove that it cannot be done.

@Mr.Xcoder no objective winning criterion, isn't magic getaway
I overlooked the pop-con tag, it is close to being off-topic anyway even with another winning criterion
I've VTC'ed as unclear because it is understated anyway.
13:21
Any way to classify that as a ?
are we given anything?
13:43
how can it be possible? readable base64 is at least 32 bits per 6 bits of data
I doubt it's possible for most definitions of readable.
I just read that Elon Musk's Chicago tunnel plans to use Chicago's dirt as load-bearing walls. Chicago is built on top of a swamp. It's dirt is swamp dirt. He's going to get people killed.
lmao
14:00
Building a city on top of a swamp also seems like a good way to get people killed. Just saying.

^ they didn't have enough room in the U.S. to build it elsewhere

Q: A greeting bot for a colleague from work

CharlieI have a colleague at work that works from home every Tuesday and Thursday. At around 8:00 AM he sends us a message with the following text: Hello today I'm working from home In order to relieve him from the burden of doing this every day he stays at home, we would like to automate this tas...

14:50
@Mr.Xcoder this feels more 'too broad' than off-topic imo
@Downgoat If I could, I would have voted for off-topic, too broad and unclear all at once.
if you can understand it's off-topic, then it's not unclear enough for you to determine a close reason ;-)
@Dennis that's fair but it wasn't underground
15:11
A good chunk of the Pedway is underground, though.

Duct tape coding ftw.
@Pavel a professor once told me that he'd fail anyone in the class who hadn't had at least one part of the last assignment's code copied from SO or similar sites. Turns out he was just kind of joking

@LuisfelipeDejesusMunoz Drum & Bass
@LuisfelipeDejesusMunoz Shitty EDM and/or a mix of the Halo and Hollow Knight soundtracks
@LuisfelipeDejesusMunoz Baroque.
@Pavel That reminds me, I still need to purchase that soundtrack.
@Adám hi
@LuisfelipeDejesusMunoz German minimal/techno, like mausio. In general, the "Berlin Beats" playlists by Napster are pretty good.

@mınxomaτ This is basically what I put on when there's company around
@LeakyNun Hi Kenny, how is it going?
@Adám it's going well
@Adám the stød is impossible
@LeakyNun You didn't compete in the Dyalog problem solving competition :-(
@LeakyNun No it isn't, I can say it just fine.
18:49
lol!
also the blode d
@LeakyNun How is that any more difficult than this?
i don't know
it just sounds like L to me
but is about to throw up
@LeakyNun Can you say Danish ʁ?
I believe I can
@LeakyNun Yeah, I can see how that is a good approximation. Danish rød sounds similar to English argh.
18:56
am I doing it right?
@Adám
how does it sound similar to argh?
@LeakyNun I was kind of joking (argh being someone throwing up), but the R is similar.
@LeakyNun That's pretty good. Has accent, but clearly understandable. Yum!
