@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ Well we have a consensus (which I don't 100% agree w) that only encodings implemented in an interpreter can be used
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ shift and rev are almost always useless. Don't think they're in Golfscript or CJam
@Doorknob Huh. I use them all the time in ><>
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ what's your 3x3 PB?
@Doorknob Those are the only stack manipulators in Vitsy. xD
20:00
@ThomasKwa Is it even possible to do so in the browser?
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ ><> is... different
@anOKsquirrel ~8 seconds.
Microscript had reverse, I haven't added to Microscript II yet.
@Doorknob How so? It's stack based
@Doorknob Rotate whole stack is used frequently in Seriously, since there's no rotate-three
20:01
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ same actually :D
My average is 15 though :P
#disproportionate
Oh god it's another pinned message.
16
Conversation is hell in here ._______.
Mine is 17
20:01
#evenmoredisproportionate
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ It's not meant to be stack-based a golfing language, is it?
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ Not my forte; sorry
I mean... it's not meant to be a golfing language
@Maltysen CJam and GolfScript have blocks, but that doesn't mean all stack-based languages have to.
@Doorknob Oh. Haha, yeah.
20:02
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ I can't brain
8
@ThomasKwa It's okay. I'll figure it out.
The side-vote arrives...
what's the point in a transcript if it makes literally no sense
@Seadrus Of course it doesn't make sense. Nothing can "make sense" ;)
2
@anOKsquirrel Do you have a speedsolving.com account?
20:03
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ I do not.
wat is stealth pining
*pinging
nothing
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ Why?
20:04
@Seadrus It's too stealthy to be explained.
So then we can get banned for nothing?
@Doorknob Dadknob proceeds to hide the truth from his kids
2
@anOKsquirrel I was wondering how you knew about MinimalisTimer.
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ I used to browse speedsolving a lot, but never had an account
@anOKsquirrel Ah, I see.
20:06
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ I saw you one PPCG once and was suprised, but I have never seen you in chat...
There are too many chat stars going on right now.
ಠ_ಠ ಠ_ಠ ಠ_ಠ ಠ_ಠ
@Dennis What on earth happened to cause this? o_O
@VoteToClose My chat screen is right-bordered with dark grey and yellow stars >_<
oh I have to clean this up now... thanks that's nice
^ This is why destarring should be more than a mod thing.
20:09
breathes in Ahh that looks so much better.
2
@Sp3000 People were abusing a bug in the system to annoy other people.
I never should have reported the "I can see who's starring things"-bug...
6
how could you do that?
@Dennis Is this a stealth ping: [Dennis](http://@Dennis)
@anOKsquirrel Yeah, I've only started chatting on PPCG relatively recently.
20:10
@anOKsquirrel websocket frames
@Doorknob Well, if you hadn't, someone else would have...
not anymore
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ Why would you do that?
@Doorknob wat
@VoteToClose The @ symbol freaks me out.
20:11
Like, there's no point, just chuck on an @ sign.
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ you forgot to put the printable ASCII characters in your code page
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ ...
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ It technically isn't, but don't tempt me.
:P
@ThomasKwa Shoot. I'll do that.
20:11
@Dennis Okay ^_^
@ThomasKwa Bless, I hate that in GS, you can't rotate more than 3. If you want to get rid of a variable from the bottom the stack, you have to clear it out at the end
Uhhh, so, the chat just popped up a message for me...?
10 mins ago, by VoteToClose
Oh god it's another pinned message.
Ahahahahaha.
You broke my post train.
20:12
c:
You broke mine.
So even. :D
@VoteToClose Sounds legit. Click Allow, tick Remember.
o-o No.
@Dennis In that order?
4
That's the safer way.
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ that means codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/65261/39328 definitely isn't 12 bytes, implementation or no implementation
20:13
Man, I can't even troll properly.
*where did the remember box go*
@Dennis Go talk to @Alex. He'll help you :P
@Sherlock9 That's usually a mistake in your program's workflow.
Oh, it's google, we're all good. :D obvious sarcasm is obvious
20:14
@VoteToClose why would you take a screenshot of text
4
Didn't feel like copying it?
... it's literally less effort to just copy/paste it
wow, much lazy
I think abusing chat stars should result in a suspension
either way you're dragging from the start to the end, but it's one more keypress to take a screenshot
20:15
@Doorknob Not on my computer, actually.
@CᴏɴᴏʀO'Bʀɪᴇɴ that would be nice if we were able to know who's starring things
okay, who has all these stars to spend?
@Doorknob Yeah. I'd ask "Who did it" but who would respond?
@ThomasKwa Fixed?
@Dennis Well it certainly didn't help when I was writing Josephus in Golfscript
20:17
Haha, lol, forgot to add control structures to Jolf.
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ No, you can't use an encoding that you write after the challenge starts.
also, you forgot newline (and tab if you're going to use it).
@Sherlock9 GolfScript has a very limited set of built-ins anyway. In more powerful stack-based languages, it's much easier to deal with these things.
@ThomasKwa Fixed. Added tab anyway even though I probably won't need it.
20:19
I'm back
@Dennis I'll take more of a look at the stuff on my languages to learn: Pyth, CJam, Vitsy, Seriously
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ if you're not going to implement the encoding, you'd better answer meta.codegolf.stackexchange.com/questions/7248/… or edit the "Have a different langauge" answer to include your opinion
Actually you can just make a transpiler, and call it implemented
@ThomasKwa The interpreter already transpiles.
@Calvin'sHobbies How do I make a code page?
20:23
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ Wait...
@ThomasKwa From ESMin to ES6, right?
Does that count?
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ No, I meant a converter from binary in your encoding to the characters in UTF-8
...
Okay...
Gotta run. I'll think about this over lunch.
20:31
seems lefit
If you won't edit it, I'll star it. >.>
what?
no it's lefit
lehit
The logical continuation.
20:41
no just lefit
10 mins ago, by Cᴏɴᴏʀ O'Bʀɪᴇɴ
and legit
no just lefit
@Sp3000 You're right, except for when N is zero. It would have extra. :P
Oh, wait, if I just put X behind it, it'll be fine... I'm an idiot
> I'm an idiot
-.-
I use that as default.
20:46
same
Is there a way to see all the replies to me in this room?
ctrl+f "@TanMath"

A: Very Simple Grid Marks

VoteToCloseVitsy, 25 23 22 21 19 Bytes Thanks to @Sp3000 for pointing out that I don't need a duplicate and saving me 2 bytes! Takes input as N W H. Try it online! 1}\0XrV\[V\[{DN]aO] 1 Push 1 to the stack. } Push the backmost to the front and subtract 2. ...

@anOKsquirrel noooo! I want to see from like two weeks ago. How can I do that?
@VoteToClose :'(
20:48
@El'endiaStarman 3 bytes to shave. ;D
@TanMath one sec
@El'endiaStarman Ever thought about implicit float input?
@Doorknob ಠ_ಠ
@VoteToClose Incidentally, I'll be implementing matrix output soon, which will cut out a lot of bytes. Like, half of them, probably.
20:50
@El'endiaStarman o_o
@VoteToClose How do you mean?
hi again molarmanful
I don't even know what that means. :D
@anOKsquirrel Hi!
How was lunch? :P
20:51
Lol very filling.
@anOKsquirrel does not work
I just got a challenge idea
@TanMath do it for your name. Press "search for messages" on your nameand click on replies
Hmm. I like @Sock's image. I must remember to make a parody of it.
Print the nth palindromic number with only squares in them. Now only if there is an OEIS page for this
@anOKsquirrel like this?
@ThomasKwa So, now that I'm back, I'm gonna need an explanation and/or example... I just don't get this...
Doesn't show all replies
@VoteToClose Gimme 10 or 15 minutes, you'll see.
@TanMath does it not? ughhhh
@El'endiaStarman Do you just mean line formatting? :P
Pretty much, yeah. :D
20:57
(~-.-)~ Don't say it so fancily.
I implemented several matrix operations two nights ago.
sniped through a wall >_<
@ןnɟuɐɯɹɐןoɯ just write a program that does
How do you duplicate the stack n times if n is at the top of the stack? In seriously please
@ThomasKwa might know
yeah?
@TanMath $D in Minkolang woot woot! :P
20:59
@ThomasKwa Okay. I'm gonna go work on that now.
''.join([['ïîíìôℹⅩℍ𝕜𝕄....'][byte] for byte in input])
or whatever
Speaking of which, its behavior has irked me. Gonna go fix it now.
