Wow. My universal binary function table is on p. 18 of Automatic Data Processing. Small wonder apl and j were so good at it. ... But I'm beginning to suspect there's an even shorter way.
codegolf.stackexchange.com/q/24271/194 isn't a great question, but now that the spec has been edited it doesn't deserve to be on -3, so if anyone who downvoted it reads this chat it would be kind to give it a second look.
Any thoughts? What should happen in the case that someone takes the time to develop their question in the sandbox and someone else takes that work and posts it first (not what's happened in this case, they're just very similar)?
