@Dennis I tried making a new Bash program, and it worked just fine. What's up with that program?

I accidently stumbled on the Power Rangers theme song and now I'm stuck listening to it in a loop...

@Fatalize Go Go Power Rangers!

I hope that song is in the 2017 movie

@Sp3000 Done. Had to use my phone. Ideone and my DSL don't like each other.
I'll be so happy once Python is on TIO.

@tuskiomi Haven't heard of that meme. Like "Bugs Bunny -> Gubby"?

4:04 PM
:) tell me how it goes, will be interested

@PhiNotPi The problem isn't really an error, it's that he got JS to run in the user's browser, which is a security flaw/exploit.
He could redirect to a malicious website, and make the code public for any user to run.

Ideone is currently vulnerable to XXS! Until this is fixed, I suggest avoiding Ideone links from untrusted sources and opening all other Ideone links that are not your own in an Incognito window.
9

@Dennis How does using an Incognito window help?

Sounds like we should just temporarily pin that

^ Agreed

4:10 PM
@mbomb007 It prevents cookie theft at least.

I'm assuming the idea of incognito is so that people can't get access to your own account, if you have one. Doesn't help with unvalidated redirects though I suppose

Q: Zero Point One, Zero Point Zero One

TheBitByteBelow, is a description of a sequence: 0.1, 0.01, 0.001, 0.0001, 0.00001, and so on, until reaching 0. {one hundred zeros} 1 Total so far: 101 terms. Then, continued: 0.2, 0.02, 0.002, 0.0002, 0.00002, and so on, until reaching 0. {two hundred zeros} 2 Total so far: 101 + 201 = 302 terms....

@Dennis Now say that to the Ideone team, by clicking the link "feedback and bugs" in the footer of the page.

@Sp3000 Done. Had to use my phone. Ideone and my DSL don't like each other.

bah

4:13 PM
I'm somewhat amused at how easily discoverable this one was, hope they're just temporarily introducing a new feature and will revert it soon

Yet another reason to keep using textareas on TIO.

@Dennis And if they're not on this site, just don't open them.

Obviously they need more jQuery.

@Downgoat How do I do set membership? Is there an in operator?

has anyone tested if this also includes PhP?

4:18 PM
Then you can view the code and determine if it's safe to run.

@Dennis scary
Good thing I don't use ideone anyway

4:31 PM
@mbomb007 'bugs bunny' is 'bogs binny' IIRC, sorry for the late reply, I was distracted.

@mbomb007 I hope you don't mind but I think I might unstar that, because ideone.com/fork/qN4UZk
(it's the notes one triggering rather than the code)

what is TA acronym of in academical stuff ?

Teaching assistant?
Oh, looks like they rolled it back. ideone's looking better now

yeah, the old snippets still execute, though.

@Sp3000 Huh.
@Sp3000 Dang. That was fast.
That explains why the Rickroll I was making stopped working.
> Michał Koperkiewicz <kopringo@sphere-research.com>

4:45 PM
That would have been neat!

Fast indeed :P
... wait does my last one still execute?

@Dennis the ×SS issue is addressed.

@Sp3000 Yeah. I can't delete it.
@Dennis The XSS vulnerability is fixed.

Er... I meant does this one still trigger: ideone.com/fork/qN4UZk

Doesn't youtube have an 'Embed' feature for their vidoes?

@Sp3000 I sent him a message again.
@tuskiomi What do you think I was using? That's it right there.
Ideone filters out all hyperlinks for everyone but the author.

haha, right on!

So I got past that
> Oh no! :)
> Please give us a few minutes...
Dang. They disabled that before I "patched" my Rickroll...
They're fast.

Hm... where did you send an email to? I didn't get a reply :(

4:58 PM
@Sp3000 contact@ideone.com
It's listed in the FAQ

Hm... that's the one I sent to too
shrugs
As long as they got the message from one of us, that's good

But I sent an email from my work email, so it looked more professional maybe? I also linked to the vulnerability, and to the TNB message by Dennis.

I thought about what you said, and have remembered to post my new challenge in the Sandbox first! Yay! :-)

@wizzwizz4 Do you have a link? I want to see!

Give me a sec. It turns out it wants a CAPTCHA solved first.
And I am no good at CAPTCHAs.

5:02 PM
@Dennis You should've crafted a Rickroll instead of an alert. Too late now.
@Sp3000 He replied that he fixed this one, too, now.

Yay

@TùxCräftîñg Kinda. It just takes the two previous generations into account.

QI (Quite Interesting) is a British comedy panel game television quiz show created and co-produced by John Lloyd, hosted by Stephen Fry (replaced by Sandi Toksvig after the M series), and featuring permanent panelist Alan Davies. Most of the questions are extremely obscure, making it unlikely that the correct answer will be given. To compensate, points are awarded not only for right answers, but also for interesting ones, regardless of whether they are right or even relate to the original question. Conversely, points are deducted from a panelist who gives "answers which are not only wrong, but...

mp is the primality check
{..} define a function, and f convert a symbolic expression into a function
XY+X*f can be exprimed as a function, just it need a lot of stack manipulation
