11:02 PM
@IsmaelMiguel You should fix that.

Perhaps

It's fun
So far, it's my favorite language for making languages in.

I usually make languages in PHP and Javascript

11:03 PM
@IsmaelMiguel as someone who used to write languages in JS, I think you'd like doing it in Ruby

Is it strongly-typed?

"I is JavaScript" lol

@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ I don't really understand why python isn't a python and why Javscript isn't a person pulling his hairs out. But, I really do like everything overall. Very nice job!

What snake is python if not python?

11:13 PM
@IsmaelMiguel it's mine, actually.

@ConorO'Brien Then nice work to you!
I really liked it

> why Javscript isn't a person pulling his hairs out

@IsmaelMiguel thanks! ^_^ you can find the original in the link I just posted

ಠ_ಠ

@ConorO'Brien Reminds me of xkcd's "My hobby:" comics. :P

11:16 PM
@ConorO'Brien Did you made the website?

@ConorO'Brien Nice! Make more.

@El'endiaStarman well, yes. I almost said "My hobby" then I realized where I got that from.

@Downgoat Well, I've been screaming internally with Javascript's madness for the past 2 weeks.

@IsmaelMiguel nope, it's comicfury.com
@Cyoce working on it ;)
I really only post if I'm inspired, so that I don't post bad comics

@IsmaelMiguel lel
@IsmaelMiguel can i haz teh starz
@Cyoce i literally tell him that about once a week
you missed my rant at 4am
@quartata mind if I use your whitelist for the tournament? this one

11:18 PM
@ConorO'Brien I didn't knew that website. But then again, I'm not someone who's much into comics. But I can appreciate the art.

@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ It's pretty restrictive just FYI.

@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean.

Is this for 6v6?

@IsmaelMiguel thanks!
@quartata yes

@ConorO'Brien By the way, I need your help

11:20 PM
@IsmaelMiguel on what? javascript?

The leaderboard

what about it?

Well
I've been working on it
Through the week
And I've made a "few" changes

yeah?

And I really need help to test it
Anyone that is reading this can help too
All help is welcome

11:21 PM
what do you need help testing?

Well
I need to see if it barfs on challenges
And accuracy of the results

@quartata kk
@quartata ye

Martin's help would be great, since he did the first one

I can't provide hosting but I can do config + map pool

> The answer to that is that if you need more than 3 levels of indentation, you're screwed anyway, and should fix your program.
From Linux kernel coding guidelines (probably Linus)

11:27 PM
Which I don't disagree, but on Javascript, almost every single fiddly bit is asynchonous

This leads to tons of anonymous functions inside anonymous functions inside all sorts of event handlers and callbacks

JS is fucked up, but cool
@quartata ooh, thanks
any map suggestions?

@IsmaelMiguel just...wow

11:28 PM
Depends on the tournament format

@IsmaelMiguel ?

One second

@quartata 6v6?

@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Mercator

@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Round robin, knockout, swiss...
One second

11:30 PM
@ReleasingHeliumNuclei ?

@ReleasingHeliumNuclei If you read the code carefully, almost all indentation levels are inside anonymous functions. Starting with the 1st, to ensure everything is self-contained and won't polute the already-over-poluted window object.
@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ Is that for Team Fortress?

ye
@ReleasingHeliumNuclei that's not a tf2 map. :P

@EᴀsᴛᴇʀʟʏIʀᴋ no, thats a map projection but wateva

I can't help with that, I don't play Team Fortress

ik
@IsmaelMiguel that's okay, specifically asking quartata
he does

11:32 PM
Oh, sorry then

11:42 PM
@quartata atomizer: yes or no?

@quartata elimination

@ConorO'Brien Not in 6v6

aha!
@quartata basher in 6v6? I think so.

Always
Uber building

11:44 PM

11:54 PM
@quartata quickiebomb launcher: yes or no?

Leaning towards no

@ConorO'Brien Whät çömïç?

Actually

@flawr ;)

Yes

11:55 PM
ok

good nite

night!

I just now noticed that CJam's eval function works on strings
this makes space-separated input sooo much neater
