can I give golfing tips on my own question (unrelated to the core of the problem) or should I hold back myself? :)

I'm applying to Screeps Early Preview (aka private beta), and one question is why I would like to access the Early Preview. Should I cite my usage of CG.SE? ("Screeps" is basically an MMO KOTH competition)
