5:01 AM
Aaaaand now I can't play League (at least not outside of bot games) because the router/modem got moved upstairs.

4 hours later…
9:00 AM
@Yuuki Ping problems?

5 hours later…
1:32 PM
@Jutschge More like spike issues.
Every few seconds, spikes up to 1000 ping.
Okay, picked up a pair of powerline adapters, we'll see how these work tomorrow.

Aaah that's the worst. No way of getting it back down?
Playing over wifi is always risky though. Ping spikes always happen in teamfights lol

Well, we'd be moving the router/modem back downstairs and the powerline adapters would be for the people upstairs.
:D

2:05 PM
The new championship SKT skins look fantastic though.
All of them, I want all of them.

Ah fuck... Rip my wallet
and wtf is that... a kkOma ward??

Mhmm.
It even facepalms when it dies.

Seems like I'll finally switch out my Draven wards

3:08 PM
Hmm I guess I'll play some league when I get home and pray that I don't have a Riven on my team Q_Q

1 hour later…

1 hour later…
5:37 PM
How is everyone enjoying the Chaos vs Order event? I like the daily missions, but this event is kinda falling short of its potential IMO. I guess this is just a test of their new mission system.

1 hour later…
6:49 PM
@MageXy Pretty sure that's it.

7:28 PM
I like the rewards, though. It's always nice when Riot gives out a small amount of free content to users who don't buy RP. Makes me feel like I'm a valued customer, even though I don't spend much to begin with.
I'll probably end up buying a couple of those Way of ___ Passes, the rewards look pretty nice.

I wonder if they're going to convert the win of the day to a daily mission.

Also, chaos ftw >:)

I'd like that more than the current 22-hour reset.
It's always annoying when I don't actually LoL until late and I get my win of the day at like 3 or 4 in the morning.
And now I either have to skip a day or slowly work to get a normal reset schedule over the course of a week.

That's a good question. From what I can tell of the system, quests always reset at the same time, whereas the 22-hour reset is more "guaranteed" for people who play at the same time each day.
So with it being a quest, you could theoretically get two "first wins" in one day if you play right before the reset.

Sure but that involves not winning the day before.
So over the two days, you still get the same amount of first win bonuses.
Little concerned that win of the day is too tied up in other stuff (like the end of game results screen ticker) for them to separate it out to become a daily mission.
Urgot's apparently getting shotgun knees.
And the upcoming champion is going to be a jungler.

7:36 PM
Shotgun knees? That's... new.

@MageXy Camille "Sword Legs" was just a prototype.

I'll bet the next champ gets nunchuck arms.

I, for one, can't wait for TF2 "Spaghetti Legs" Scout.

Ooh, I just read that champion roadmap update on the nexus site. The new champion looks like it might be a Void champ, which is really cool. Or, even better, maybe it's a Watcher?
We know almost nothing about the Watchers other than what Lissandra and the NPCs in ARAM tell us.

Well, they're reworking Aatrox. And he doesn't really have any relation to the rest of the cast (outside of maybe Tryndamere?) so maybe they could turn him into a Watcher.

7:51 PM
Possibly. He's still going to be a Darkin, though. I've seen some Rioters mention on Reddit they have a couple of upcoming Darkin lore pieces they want to release. It would be a little odd if they changed Aatrox to be something else when he's our only connection to them atm.
Then again, they retroactively changed Ahri and Rengar to be Vastayan (like Xayah/Rakan), so who knows what their lore team is up to, haha.

@MageXy Well, it's different if they want to expand on the Darkin.
As of now, Aatrox is just weird because his lore doesn't really connect to anything.
Which is why I wouldn't mind a lore rework on him.
There's a thing about Tryndamere but that's just so loose.
If they could tie the Darkin to the Watchers, that would fix Aatrox's lore problem a lot, imo.

Hmm, I kinda like that angle. We already know the Watchers had a big influence in the Freljord, and Tryndamere is from that region.
It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to make Aatrox a pivotal figure in that conflict, not just for Trynd, but for all those ice-lovers up there.
