ready to rock and roll :) They changed few things. Now must use that download manager to download the installation. Before one had choice to download directly. Also now they have this little confusing selection
I selected the first one. I do not know what "web docu only" mean. and "doc only". why would anyone just download documentation?
@Nasser In case you initially only did web docs I assume
@b3m2a1 You mean when clicking on the "help" menu option which brings up the "documentation center" ? I see. You are right. Now when I did that, it brings up a local version, and did not send to to Wolfram website. This is much better and faster.
The user interface seems more clear on this one. Little larger, or the fonts are changed. I like this one more.
It's also just memory hungry if you don't really care about the docs. I'd assumed they'd have provided local docs for core functions and web docs for the stuff that doesn't matter but what do I know
I am using 100% magnification and it looks like 125% but it is not.

This is a great new 90% done functionality. Impossible to use without autocomplete.

Q: New Needs alias - How to make autocomplete works

MurtaMathematica 13 has a cool new feature for Needs. Now it's possible to use alias: Here is a simple doc example: The problem is, the autocomplete do not work for the Alias! Making very hard to use It if you are used to It. Any way to solve that? I'm doing something wrong?

So far, I dislike the new way in which WRI has distributed this new version. I have been stuck on the first step of the first step of "updating documentation" now for quite some time, and this is just the download manager! Hoping it is my university's issue, and not WRI's.

@Murta Yes. I filed a suggestion for this.

So, 13 just came out. It certainly has come a long way

I've got 13 on my new Windows and Mac laptops now. Looking like they might have finally fixed the frequent 1-2 second freeze when the autocomplete popup appears on Windows, so that's good. Yeah default font size seems bigger. Trying with the online only docs for now. So far seems fine.

@ChrisK I started with version 1 on a Mac Plus and I'm old enough to have forgotten about DisplayFunction.
