lol someone just described our site as for "questions specific to programming, that aren't specific programming questions". I think that sums up Programmers perfectly
@psr bacon probably has enough fat to automatically attain buoyancy. For the record, as a vegetarian, I don't eat bacon. This means more for the rest of you. Also Bacon + Coffee = Mountain Men?
@WorldEngineer Dude, I respect you for being a vegetarian. I don't know how I could live without meat. I've never had bacon (or any pork for that matter) due to religious reasons... but you can't take away my chicken, lamb, and cow...

@Dynamic I was raised vegetarian at home and meat was only ever a "dine out" thing until we got to Georgia. Even then my mom kept it meat light. Once I got to college it largely became an expense issue. I'm not an ethical vegetarian, I recommend local sourcing for health and general sustainability reasons but I don't blindly judge

as far as "missing" it, I recommend pinto beans cooked with mushrooms and onions. You then mash that up, mix it with an egg or some kind of other binder and fry it like a patty.

it's a veggie burger in every sense

mushrooms are the key, they are loaded with glutamaic acid
People, look at the graphic. It floats in the air. Flying bacon! Or possibly hovering bacon. Kind of a half bacon rainbow, maybe. Any of which is awesome!
And how do we know it's not vegetarian bacon? There are multiple bacon colors, who can say what they represent?
