I'm biased, but it did help me solve an issue I had with understanding a non-linear optimization algorithm I'm playing with - but I did have to fix that link to get the answer I needed, so if it's gonna get deleted, there should be something immediately to replace it since it's a hot question

Q: how to proof the semmetry property of the non-trivial zeros of the zeta function?

haidara gamsi was wondering how we can proof the real part symmetry property of the non-trivial zeros of the eta function with the the series representation.that is proof that if a+bi is a non-trivial zero then 1-a+bi is a non-trivial zero.

1. Is the "Does this answer your qstn" dupe auto-comment automatically deleted once the dupe question is closed? 2. What circumstances permit the site robot to intervene to delete a dupe question (as happened in my previous message)?

@ryang 1. Yes. 2. Perhaps this will shed some light on your question - I don't see an obvious deletion of a question in your immediately previous message, though.

@KReiser Sorry: I meant to say: "intervene to close"
16:39
@ryang When you see "Community" in the list of users who closed the question, that's a result of the question's author agreeing with a close vote. Mousing over the "Community" user in the list of closers will show you the mouse-over text "This question's author approved a pending duplicate vote."
@KReiser Thanks

Dv/D fatally flawed handwaving that the author has not deleted even though the error was mentioned 7 months ago.
