@XanderHenderson That same asker is a repeat PSQ generator, and sometimes was rewarded. This PSQ had 4 upvotes and 0 close-votes and 7 answers! And this one got 6 answers!

On the bright side, two or three of those answers are from relative newbies who maybe don't know better?

@Matix No, best not to close it. If you find the answer very helpful, you can accept it. Or, if it is a recent post, to can wait because you may receive additional answers. And when you are satisfied, you can accept the most helpful of them (click on the grey $\checkmark$ to the left of the answer you'd like to accept. But keep your question!

If you get an answer to a question, you should consider clicking the "accept" button, but you should not attempt to close or delete your question

I originally read this marginal PSQ as "Time travel of $n$ people," which seemed much more intesting

Is there any kind of consensus about what to do with a suggested edit like this one?

On the one hand, if I were to bother editing that question, those are probably the edits that I would make. On the other hand, the question needs to be closed, and no amount of editing will change that (unless the original questioner decides to improve the question).

I feel kind of bad for FDP, who clearly put in a lot of effort answer a question that didn't deserve it. :(

But we all make choices, I suppose

@XanderHenderson Yeah... But sometimes early-ish closures of questions, (or deletion of questions), if it happens enough to someone who answers a lot of those, may serve as a deterrent. (I wish!)
