@Peter @Xander and anyone interested in dupes, the question linked to in Peter's message is not worthy of being a dupe target. It was closed as a PSQ, and received too poor answers. Please lets find a better dupe target of this question asked only 2 days ago?

4:29 PM
@amWhy I don't think that either is worth keeping.

@Peter Gone

@Xander Thank you for dealing with the post I linked above, and you did so a good half hour ago. That is very much appreciated! Please forgive my frustration expressed above. It's just been a tense few days for me. (Note that that's an excuse, but I have many unresolved concerns)

@Peter Gone too!
If somebody can follow what's going on here so the user posts an attempt in the comments, and then no answer proceeds to even talk about the attempt, and one of them is saying it is wrong , the other two just leave hints, I mean what is going on here!

5:14 PM
@user21820 Through the Ds!
The attempt in C1 is funny, first it's said that lim sin(nx) doesn't exist, and then it's taken to be infinite on the very next line. That looks loosely sewn together, although one may argue the user did not see it.

@Peter Up for deletion now.

Concerning the close review queue : Are there many questions with a good score ? Because I basically concentrate on the posts with a low score because they are much easier to find. In this case, the flood will be difficult to be stopped. How can one see this queue ?

Delete dupe of huge ENT FAQ (Factor Theorem) (sorry, had wrong link above)

Does anyone want to make the argument that this question is worth keeping?

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Bad keyword in link text in answer (81): Divide a triangle into 2 equal area polygons by denim98 on math.SE

@XanderHenderson Apart from not being written in MathJax, it has an attempt with a few small cases tried out, although no background on the user's ability is provided . This is worth keeping if somebody can help the author give it some direction, background and purpose, although I'd imagine that followers of sport (I am too, but not interested here) might think there's enough motivation to consider a situation like this.
And, oh, Мурку!

6:09 PM
Мурка?

@XanderHenderson I mean, yeah, I just prefer the spelling it's given in some Russian books, although I'd anticipate the a at the end as well, apparently there's a y at the end! Anyway, sometime I'll play that piece and send it across! (Note : that had nothing to do with the question, just the end of my sojourn through PSQ land for the day!)

Не играю на пианино... :\
(did I grammar that right? it's been way too long since I've tried to think in Russian)

6:38 PM
@XanderHenderson Big sigh! Another noun verbified!! Sigh! ;P

Anyway, will have to exit CURED a little early today, big day ahead tomorrow. See you all!

Just wait until be field questions: "Did I matrix that system of equations right? ... Or, we already have seen, "Did I proof that correctly"?
@TeresaLisbon See you! Sleep well!

7:07 PM
@amWhy I love verbing nouns. Language is meant to be abused!

@XanderHenderson you did grammar that right; even remembering that пианино doesn't decline :)

@postmortes I think it is more that I forgot how to decline a neuter noun, and hoped for the best. :D

How to solve: 4^x + 3^x = 1 is a duplicate of How to find all solutions of 4^x-3^x=1?, which has 6 decent answers. (Perhaps the new Q&A can be merged into the older one, it has an answer which seems not to be among the answers to the older Q&A.)

@XanderHenderson Hah! And you managed to verbify another noun: verb!!
I'll start asking askingers not to PSQ their questioning.

7:19 PM
@Teresa Remind me to record these verbings in our list of Xanderisms!!
Just a personal observation: due to the frequency I write "question" on this site, 50% of the time now, when typing "request", my fingers take over and type "requestion" :(
A good list for the Cafe will be: How has math.se participation undermined you in typing in other contexts? In emails, I sometimes want to use @ when I should use "at".. Or I start them off instead of Dear So-and-So, with @So-and-So.

@amWhy Pft! The word "asker" already nouns the verb "to ask". I don't know that we need a gerunded nounified verb.

@XanderHenderson But you missed "Don't PSQ your questions" :P

So would "seeking rep" be called "repping". It would be fitting to contract out for a rapper to be rapping against "repping", only for the sake of rep. And link it when appropriate. Plus, We might as well also link to "Jack, the Repper"! @Xander
I'm having fun this Friday!

I cannot imagine that “How to rationalize (a+b √c)/(a-b √ c)” hasn't been asked and answered before, but I haven't found a suitable duplicate target yet.

8:19 PM
@MartinR I think the question linked, both mine is yours, that results in a difference of squares, for this user, isn't likely to sink if it is only "how to rationalize what you posted." In any case, they'd have to know to multiply numerator and denominator, by the conjugate (if they even know that term) of the denominator. No doubt there's a dupe out there, but this question would best be closed as needing context. It won't add anything to the dupe chain, aren't the greatest.
@MartinR I'm certainly open to your take on this, @MartinR. Certainly an appropriate duplicate target need not match the question fully.

8:37 PM
@amWhy I have left comments with two related questions, but voted to close as off-topic.

I didn't know at the time of my posting here that my request was related to your request.
@MartinR Feel free to call me on anything whenever you have more information, or a dupe target you've found, or are confused by a post I recommend for closure, etc., or just plain disagree.

9:03 PM
@rschwieb No, not at all. First of all, it would have been best posted on matheducators.se, than here. And plus, it's not about math, it's about what technology would be best suited.

First link is clearly a PSQ. Nonetheless +3. I can't figure out why this PSQ has +5. Please enlighten me.
(As well as the answer!)
