@AlexanderGruber: I agree that with most of what you have described. But there comes a point where suspension doesn't work and we need some policy decisions. Like the delete/undelete wars and their discussion on meta has reduced from the time when guidelines for context edits were made.
I can understand that any control over answering PSQs via formulation of policy requires very strong concensus from community.

@supinf: a consensus over answering PSQs requires some sort of discussion with top PSQs answerers. If they are convinced others will follow suit.

@AlexanderGruber I'll talk to you privately, but not here, not publicly. Speaking out continues to render me a target on this site, not by mods, but by other users. Else I'll paint a false smile on my face.

I will add an bounty to it to get a detailed answer by Contour integration and residue calculus method as I want to understand how to use contour integration method for this question in detail. I looked/ searced some other answers also on the website but I was not satisfied with the detail . Kindly vote to reopen this question thank you

Just 2 reopen votes needed. Can you please help me?

@Ben I suggest you improve your post: Why wasn't the dupe helpful? Why specifically wasn't the answer on your closed post helpful? A bounty ought not make up for a poor question.

close this the post appears funny
The above was posted by a new user who joined today. How are we supposed to be nice to such new contributors?
One more delete vote needed for that post above.

@ParamanandSingh Gone. By the way, it's definitely not a new user, because I recognize that username but cannot really recall much.

@user21820 the user (actual person) may not be new, but the account is created today. I checked the profile. But I like the fact that the user feels proud of being a Crank and says so at the outset. Very frank. Like that attitude. Hahaha

@ParamanandSingh Actually, this one strikes me more like a troll who sets out to rile up others.

@XanderHenderson I'm confused - how did that get undeleted? Is it the case that the poster can just unilaterally undelete an answer?

@KReiser Yup.

@XanderHenderson Is there documentation about what the delete/undelete mechanism for answers is? I know that the number of delete/undelete votes required varies based on certain criteria for questions, but I have to admit I've never seen the rules for answers.

Answers can be deleted in three ways: 1) a diamond mod deletes the post; 2) three (or more, depending on votes) users with 20k+ XP vote to delete it; 3) a majority of 20k- users "recommend" deletion in the low-quality review queue.
in case (3), the answerer is permitted to unilaterally undelete their answer

@XanderHenderson interesting, I was unaware of this. Is that the only case (besides self-deletion) where a user can unilaterally undelete?

So far as I know, yes.
I'm looking for documentation now, as this is only my recollection. I could be wrong.

Well, you learn something new every day, I guess. Thanks for the information.

Q: Why can I undelete a moderator-deleted post?

Andrue AndersonPreviously, I was below 50 reputation. Some of my 'answers' looked more like comments than answers, and one particular commanswer was flagged and deleted. However, due to an upvote on said commanswer, I was put above 50 reputation and able to make real comments. Why was I able to restore my answ...

Q: How does deleting work? What can cause a post to be deleted, and what does that actually mean? What are the criteria for deletion?

jjnguyWhat circumstances can cause a question or answer to be deleted, and what does that actually mean? How can a post be deleted? When can't I delete my own post? Can I still see my post even after it's deleted? Can I see a list of my deleted posts? How can I undelete one of my posts? What does de...
